The Harvest (Halloween Havoc no. 14)

by Sigma

(Author’s Note: This is a Xera and Her Companions Halloween Special. If you haven’t read those, it’s a series of fantasy stories about the Xera, Mr. X’s Amazon warrior heroine and three of my original characters, her companions, a sorceress named Minerva, an Orc named Gurka, and a warrior-priestess named Ava, getting into trouble)

I

At the end of a long and winding rode, Xera, Gurka, Ava, and Minerva came to a small village situated in the middle of a vast field. The streets were buzzing with activity as people carried sacks heavy with crops, wheeled carts through the crowd, and guided horses, oxen, and other beasts of burden dragging carts around them.

“I’ve never seen a harvest season so busy for such a small village,” Ava said.

“It’s a wonder we haven’t seen any raiding parties on the road,” Gurka said. “This place is perfect for the taking.”

“What is the matter with you?!” Xera scolded.

A man running past, carrying a sack of wheat, stopped when Minerva hailed him.

“Excuse me, sir. Is there something special happening here?”

“The harvest festival, my dear! It starts tonight,” he said with a big smile. “The crop yields were especially good this year, so it’s gonna be a big one. You and your friends should join us!” He told them before rushing off.

The four looked at each other, shrugged, and continued on.

Toward the center of the town, they came across people building what looked like a large effigy of a man with a menacing visage painted orange.

“What in the hells is that?” Gurka said.

“Oh!” Minerva said “That’s Jack of the Lantern, or simply Jack-O. He’s a spirit said to appear in fields during harvest time. He carries his lantern, said to burn with the light of tortured souls he consumes.”

“Oh yeah,” Ava said. “When I was little, we always had to come in from the fields when it started getting dark during harvest season, because my mother always said Jack-O would eat us if he caught us.”

“Humans are weird,” Gurka scoffed. She then turned to a merchant stand. “Ah, that man is selling alcohol. Move, weirdos,” she said, shoving past Xera and Gurka.

Ava sniffed at the air. “I smell pumpkin bread,” she said before wandering off.

Xera looked up at the effigy of Jack-O. “We didn’t have this legend on Ganea. He’s hideous…” she commented before moving on.

While they all dispersed, Minerva turned to her side and locked eyes with a woman leaning against the doorway of a nearby building. She was a tall, thin brunette who smiled at Minerva and waved. Something about her bothered the sorceress, but before she could say anything, a hand grabbed Minerva’s arm, causing her to jump and suppress a yell.

“Minerva!” Ava said, shoving a chunk of bread into her hand. “You have to try this pumpkin bread!”

When Minerva turned to look for the thin woman again, she was gone.

II

Dusk’s fading light began to give way to the early hours of the evening, but the small town was still alive with activity. The four companions had long settled into a packed tavern that heaved with song, laughing, and loud conversation.

Gurka raised her hand, staring at the scorpion that sat between her thumb and forefinger. She held a glass of brown liquid in the same hand and several men and women from the town surrounded her, watching in anticipation. Many had coins in their hands and there was money on the table.

The orc stared at the scorpion, smirked, blew it a kiss and then downed the liquor without disturbing the scorpion. With a swift movement of her hand, she then flicked the scorpion onto the table and trapped it under the glass. A cheer went up as Gurka collected her winnings.

“Dammit!” Ava groaned, with a half eaten lamb shank in one hand.

Xera lowered her beer and looked at Ava. “You bet Gurka would get stung?”

“Shut up…” Ava growled, folding her arms and watching as Gurka collected her winnings from the townspeople.

Minerva laughed at Ava’s indignation while Xera finished her drink. Moments later, Gurka came over and grabbed Xera and Ava.

“On your feet, you two. The next drinking game’s a team game.”

“Hey wait!” Ava said, grabbing her lamb before being whisked away.

“Can I come?” Minerva said.

Gurka looked back at her. “You know you’re a lightweight, Minerva. We’ll manage,” Gurka said before dragging the other two off to play.

Minerva sighed and poured herself a drink and looked up when someone slipped into one of the empty seats.

“Hello there.” It was the thin woman she had seen earlier that day. “Quite the friend you have there.”

“Yeah, she’s...something…” Minerva said, looking at Gurka. She looked at the woman, who were a low-cut dress that showed off her cleavage. She was an attractive woman, with pale, unblemished skin and large, green eyes that Minerva couldn’t help but stare into.

“I’m Sirene,” she introduced herself.

“Uh...Minerva,” she answered.

“What a lovely name. So what brings you and your friends here, Minerva?”

“Oh, we were just traveling,” she answered. “Mostly trying and failing to stay out of trouble.”

Sirene smiled and slid into the seat next to her. “What’s the fun in staying out of trouble?” She said, slipping a hand under the opening of Minerva’s robe and touching her on the thigh. She straightened at Sirene’s gentle touch, and Sirene smiled at her, put her drink down, and touched the tip of Minerva’s nose.

“Your friends seem to be having their fun, Minerva,” she said, motioning to Ava, Xera, and Gurka, who were playing a game that involved them throwing small balls into cups of beer belonging to another team of three and drinking from the cups on their side that had balls in them. “How about you and I go make our own fun?” she ran her finger down Minerva’s chest, tugging at the plunging neckline of her robe.

“O...okay…” Minerva said.

Sirene giggled, finished her drink, and then took Minerva’s hand and led her away.

***

Not long after, Minerva’s robe and Sirene’s dress were in a pile on the floor of a room at a nearby inn. Sirene stood over a trunk with her naked back to Minerva, who sat on the bed, and Sirene removed an object and put it on the nightstand. It was a strange looking orange mask that Sirene paid no attention to. Instead, she showed Minerva a phallic shaped object fixed to a belt and smiled.

Minerva smiled and crawled back on the bed while Sirene put the strap-on around her waist and then crawled onto the bed. They kissed and Minerva put a hand on Sirene’s shoulder while Sirene cupped one of Minerva’s perky tits. The sorceress laid back and spread her legs and Sirene guided the cock in slowly, gently, drawing out a gasped until Sirene bit down on Minerva’s lower lip. Sirene then sat up slightly and grabbed Minerva’s hips and began thrusting. Minerva arched her back, clutching the sheets underneath her as Sirene went in and out. Sirene massaged a tit with one hand and pulled Minerva’s leg over her shoulder with the other. She lifted her hips slightly and pushed herself deeper into the sorceress’ pussy.

Minerva moans, her cries and whimpers, filled the cozy little room, and her petite body rocked with Sirene’s thrusting. Sirene smiled and then planted light kisses on Minerva’s leg while playing with the flesh of her tits. Minerva spread her other leg out, wrapping it around Sirene’s narrow waist. She felt herself lost in ecstasy, able to think of nothing except for what Sirene was doing to her. Her nipples were erect, and she moaned when Sirene would play with them and continue toying with her body.

Minerva breathed deep, her heart racing as she looked Sirene in the eye. She then felt a quick, sharp jab in her shoulder and looked in bewilderment. When she turned, she saw a tail with a needle-like tip slip back behind Sirene. She began to feel groggy, her movements sluggish.

Sirene looked back down at her partner, at the flushed look in her face and smiled.

When Sirene smiled this time, her mouth was wide and full of razors.

Minerva’s heart skipped a beat and she tried to pull away, but Sirene held both of her legs with inhuman strength, making it impossible for Minerva to go anywhere. Sirene’s jaw then opened wide as she lunged at the sorceress, and all Minerva could do was scream.

The bed bucked, limbs thrashed, and there was a heavy thumping against the floor for several seconds, and then the noise died down and the screaming stopped.

Sirene stood up, in front of the small mirror over the night stand, and grinned at the sight of blood caking her jaw. She let out an orgasmic sigh and looked back at the bed, stained with blood and bits of light brown hair before looking at the mask she had taken out of the trunk.

Sirene then picked it up and wiped some of the blood from her jaw and smeared it on the mask. When she did, it surged with the unmistakable feel of awakened magic.

“It’s time for the harvest, my master…” Sirene said. Her form then shifted until she was staring at Minerva’s face in the mirror. Sirene grinned and wiped her bloody mouth.

***

As night pressed on, the harvest festival spilled out into the streets. Bards played in roving bands and revelers danced and drank while hanging lanterns lit the streets.

Gurka raised a mug to her lips and finished yet another drink. Ava danced in circles with some of the townspeople as a band of bards played an upbeat song and Xera walked through the crowd, looking around.

“Where’s Minerva?” Xera asked, grabbing Gurka’s arm.

“What?!” The orc asked, not hearing over the music.

“Minerva! Where’s Minerva?!”

“I don’t know!” The orc scoffed. “Probably reading a book or something. Leave it. Drink!” Gurka said, shoving a mug into Xera’s hands. Xera shook her head and shoved the drink back and then turned. “Oh! There she is!”

Minerva stood at the mouth of a nearby alley, waving at Xera, who ran to her. Gurka shook her head and downed the drink before walking off.

“I was starting to worry,” Xera said, putting her hands on Minerva’s shoulders. “I hadn’t seen you for a while.”

Minerva then surprised Xera by pulling her in close and planting a long kiss.

Xera stepped back and blinked, but with a smile.

“I was just off exploring,” Minerva said to her. “I found this mask at one of the stands,” she said, presenting the orange mask to Xera.

Xera looked at its twisted orange visage. “Is this that Jack-O creature?”

“Yeah, people wear them for the effigy burning. Try it on.”

Xera looked at Minerva and then shrugged and put the mask on. Her whole busty body then jolted as the mask latched onto her face and suppressed the screaming. Xera fell to her knees, trying to take it off.

“Minerva! Help!!” the Amazon pleaded, thrashing on the ground of the alley.

Sirene stepped back, grinning, and shifted back into her true form as Xera’s body began to change. She then receded into the shadows and left Xera there so the mask could do its job.

***

The procession of revelers moved toward the center of town, toward the effigy of Jack-O. Many of the townspeople held torches aloft, and Ava and Gurka were among them as they surrounded the structure.

“Hey, where’s Xera?” Ava asked.

“Off masturbating. How the fuck should I know?” Gurka said.

“What’s gotten into you…?” Ava scoffed.

“Who the hell is that…?” Gurka asked. Ava looked up when she pointed, as did every other person gathered around the effigy.

A shadowy figure knelt on the effigy’s shoulder and when it stood to its full impressive height, it was a shapely woman, with a long, slender tail behind her. Her face was a hideous horned visage with bright orange skin and glowing yellow eyes. She had a lantern around her waist and scanned the crowd in front of her.

The figure then jumped down and walked into the crowd, and people parted ways to allow her room. As she walked, there were whispers among the people.

“Is that Jack-O?” One person said.

“But that’s a woman….” said another.

“It’s just an actor!” Someone else said.

The figure then lashed out, grabbed a random man by his neck and squeezed. “Fools…” the woman said with a sinister, throaty voice. “I am Jack-O. I walk this world once more, and I have come to reap you all.” Her eyes then flashed and the man screamed in her grip as his soul was ripped from his body and pulled into the lantern. She then dropped the withered corpse and a scream went up in the crowd as people began to flee.

“Fuck!” Gurka screamed, dropping her drink and grabbing her axe. Ava drew her sword as the two of them pushed through the panicking crowd and charged Jack-O. Jack-O spun and faced them both, stepping back when Gurka swung her axe and then dodging again when Ava attacked with her sword. Jack-O then grabbed Ava by her face and threw her into a nearby food stall.

Jack-O smirked at the downed buxom blonde and started toward her, only to grunt when Gurka’s axe came down on her shoulder.

“Shit…” the orc growled when her axe got stuck.

Jack-O grabbed her by her wrist but Gurka let go of her axe with her other hand and punched the harvest spirit hard in the face. Jack-O grunted as the orc kept pummeling her and finally relented, pulling the axe from her shoulder and pushing Gurka back. Jack-O prepared to counter when Ava ran into her with her shield and knocked her down. Jack-O quickly sprang back to her feet and defended as Ava continued pressing her attack.

Gurka clutched her weapon and watched Ava before looking around the area. “Dammit, where the hells are those other two useless humans?!”

“Boo.”

Gurka jumped and swung her axe when she heard someone next to her. Sirene bent backward and Gurka’s axe cleaved the air just above her chest. She then slowly rose, a maniacal grin on her face.

“Hello, Greenskin,” Sirene said. “Let’s play.”

Gurka roared at her new enemy and attacked, nearly catching her several time with her axe. Sirene managed to duck, dodge, and weave out of harm’s way and lashed out at Gurka several times. She left shallow cuts with her nails. Gurka backed up, assessing her new enemy and Sirene licked her lips and cupped her naked tit.

“I like to play with my food, in case you haven’t realized it,” Sirene said, circling her. “And you are an impressive meal, indeed.”

“Did you bring that fucking thing here?” Gurka asked, pointing her weapon at Jack-O.

“I did,” Sirene nodded. “My master has been away for so long that his legend was reduced to a mere tale told to make children behave, and I could not abide that. Summoning my master required a blood sacrifice and a conduit, but those were easy enough to acquire.”

Gurka’s heart sank when Sirene said that. “What do you mean?”

“You know exactly what I mean, orc. The little sorceress was my blood sacrifice. I ate her, down to the last cute little freckle. Then, using her blood, I imbued the mask that imprisoned my master with the power to release him. Your other friend, the Amazon, acted as host.”

Gurka’s jaw dropped as she looked at Jack-O and Ava exchanging blows and she saw it. The curves of Jack-O’s naked body, that was Xera’s body, down to the long arms of lean muscle and healthy, curvy tits.

“Listen to me closely…” Gurka said, turning to face Sirene while dropping her axe. “I am going to kill you with my bare fucking hands. Not only that, but I am going to tear you limb from limb while I’m doing it,” she promised. “I will send you, screaming, back to whatever fucking hell you crawled out of where you will be sucking demon cock for the rest of your miserable existence for fear of ever having to see Gurka again!”

Sirene simply smirked. “Come on, then.”

Gurka screamed and, with a burst of speed, charged. Sirene was caught off guard and could only brace herself as Gurka tackled her to the ground and began raining violent blow after violent blow on her face and chest. Gurka’s big, green fists came down like hammers, and Sirene could only grunt as she felt bones cracking and teeth coming loose. She tried to push Gurka away, but the realization that she underestimated the orc’s strength was starting to sink in. Gurka grabbed her hair and landed and especially sharp punch to the face, one that made Sirene’s head spin. She realized she was beginning the fade and Gurka was nowhere near finished with her.

“Nuh uh, your murdering cunt! Don’t you pass out on me now!” Gurka said, grabbing her hair and slamming her with another fist. Gurka’s body then jerked when she felt something poke her in the shoulder. She turned to see a tail with a needle-like stinger on the end and turned back to Sirene. “You ain’t big enough to satisfy me.”

Sirene’s eyes widened in panic and Gurka wrapped her hands around Sirene’s thin neck and began squeezing.

“This is for my friends,” Gurka said through clenched teeth.

“Gurka! Help!”

The orc snapped out of her rage and turned to Ava, who was on her knees before Jack-O with the sinister spirit’s tail wrapped around her neck.

“Shit!” Gurka said, jumping off of Sirene, grabbing her weapon, and running to help Ava.

Sirene lay on the ground, her vision blurred and her arms and legs splayed as she tried to catch her breath.

***

With a yell, Gurka rammed into Jack-O and knocked her to the ground. She helped Ava to her feet.

“Ava, listen to me...that thing is Xera.”

“What?!” Ava gasped. She then looked closely and realized Gurka spoke the truth. “Oh no…”

“It gets worse….Minerva’s dead.”

Ava stared at her in stunned silence.

“I’ll explain later,” Gurka told her. “Right now, we need to put this fucker in the ground.”

Ava nodded and grabbed her sword as Gurka readied her axe. Jack-O smiled at the two heroines and held out her arms. Her face shifted to resemble Xera’s, long red hair and all.

“I...I can’t attack her like this!” Ava said.

“Ava, listen! She isn’t Xera anymore. Minerva’s gone. It’s just the two us now. We can mourn them later, but if we don’t take this bitch down, we’ll be seeing those two again a lot sooner than I’d like!”

Ava took a deep breath, nodded, and took a fighting stance.

“Attagirl…” Gurka said. She then took a fighting stance, but suddenly staggered. “What the fuck…?”

“Gurka, what is it?” Ava looked at her.

The orc stumbled forward. Her grip slipped on her axe, and she fought to stay on her feet. “My...hands. They’re numb…” she growled. She then looked at the small, almost imperceptible mark on her shoulder where Sirene stung her. “Shit…”

“Gurka, watch out!” Ava screamed before Jack-O slammed into her, knocking her to the ground. When Gurka managed, slowly, to get back to her feet, the malevolent spirit wearing Xera’s face already had Ava’s throat in her hand. She turned and beckoned to Gurka with one finger.

“Come on, orc. I’ll play with you a bit more.”

Gurka fought just to get back to her feet, and stumbled forward again. Her vision was beginning to blur and her mouth felt dry. She felt something wrap around her ankle and could only scream as it pulled her down.

Jack-O had grabbed Gurka with her tail. She let go just long enough to wrap it around Gurka’s neck, and then pulled the orc in while still squeezing Ava’s throat.

“Heh…” Jack-O smirked. “This is the best you two fools can do, is it? Unfortunate. Still, I’ll swallow your souls all the same. After I’ve had my fun, of course.”

Ava then gasped as Jack-O lifted her off the ground and slid two fingers between her legs, pushing them in deep and while pressing her thumb against Ava’s exposed clit. At the same time, she spread Xera’s muscular legs and pulled Gurka in using her tail. She then shoved the orc’s face into Xera’s spread open pussy, muzzling her.

Jack-O gasped in pleasure as Gurka’s tongue plunged into Xera’s pussy, lapping at the walls and slurping up the taste. At the same time, Ava whimpered and moaned at being penetrated herself, the fingers pumping in and out in a steady motion while she grew increasingly wet between her legs.

Ava grabbed Jack-O’s wrist with both hands, trying to kick her legs and get free, but the mounting pleasure was too much. The evil spirit wearing Xera’s face smiled and leaned in, shoving Xera’s tongue down Ava’s throat before pulling back and gently nipping at the skin of her neck, shoulders, chest, and tits. Ava whimpered, whined, and protested, but Jack-O continued all the same, without ever breaking the pace of fingering her busty blonde captive.

At the same time, Jack-O shoved Gurka’s face deeper into Xera’s pussy, and the orc let out muffled grunts. She reached up and grabbed Xera’s plump ass with one hand, and something compelled the orc to begin fingering herself at the same time. While she did that, Jack-O tightened her grip around Gurka’s neck and the orc choked while continuing to devour Xera’s pussy and fingering herself at the same time.

Sirene sat up, nursing her injured body, and watched the perverse scene in front of her unfold. A smirk crossed her face as she tried to stand, only to fall down at a sudden onset of dizziness and nausea. “Damn that orc!” she spat.

Ava’s eyes rolled back in her head, her arms all but went limp at her sides as moans and cries of pleasure continued escaping her lips. Her naked tits rocked with Jack-O’s fingering, and her jaw went slack before long. Jack-O smiled and licked the flesh of Ava’s tits as the blonde let out a cry before she orgasmed all over the fingers inside of her. It spilled out in waves, and seemed to take several moments before Ava was finally spent. She breathed rapidly, babbling something incoherent and fell to the ground, quivering and wet between the legs when Jack-O let her go.

The evil spirit then turned and looked at Gurka, still on her knees, still pleasuring herself and the spirit occupying Xera’s body at the same time. Jack-O cried out, pulling Gurka’s dark hair and playing with Xera’s tits. So intense was the pleasure that Jack-O had trouble maintaining Xera’s image at times, so it occasionally shifted to the hideous orange visage that was the spirit’s true form. After turning back into Xera, she bit her lip and shoved Gurka’s face in deeper while squeezing tighter with her tail.

The overwhelming pleasure building up in Xera’s body caused Jack-O to scream and, within minutes, Xera’s juices flood Gurka’s mouth, causing the orc to gag and gurgle until Jack-O pulled her back. Jack-O then let out a deep sigh, looking down at Xera’s thick, quivering thighs, covered in cum, and smirked. She wiped some up with her fingers and licked it.

“I think I’m going to enjoy this body…” Jack-O said before tossing Gurka onto the ground, next to Ava. She then let out a sigh and looked down at the the defeated warrior women with a grin as they cowered in her shadow. “I have no more use for you two…” Jack-O said, her eyes lighting up as she shifted back to her original face.

Ava and Gurka crawled back, drained of all their energy, not even having the strength to stand and run. Panicked looks crossed their faces as Ava took Gurka’s hand.

“Is this the end, Gurka?” Ava asked.

“Aye...it is. I didn’t think I’d die naked, next to you,” the orc said. “Ava…”

“What is it?”

“Of the three of you, you annoyed me the least.”

“You were okay sometimes, too.” Ava said as she and Gurka held each other one last time.

Jack’s eyes flared and the spirit reached out to the pair, who let out a blood curdling scream on the night air.

III

Morning rose over a dead and smoldering village. Massive flocks of crows and vultures convened on the site, picking at withered bodies as a cold wind blew through what was left of the village.

Jack-O’s lantern surged with its harvest, the souls of every last man, woman, and child in the village. He strode through the dead streets, having long abandoned Xera’s form for his own body, a thin, lanky shape that stood 8 feet tall on clawed feet, with a whip-like tail behind it.

Jack-O turned upon hearing someone approach, and eyed Sirene, limping toward him, holding her ribs. She looked up at her master with a smile.

“It’s done, my master. Is your appetite sated?”

Jack-O looked at his lantern. “I am just getting started, child. This world will tremble.”

Sirene fell to one knee before him. “I am here to serve you in whatever way you see fit.”

Jack-O looked down at her and touched the side of her face. She bristled at first and then looked up at him and smiled. She then felt unease run through her core when his eyes flared.

“I have no need for disciples and shameless bootlickers,” Jack-O said.

“Wait! Master, don’t!”

Jack-O’s mouth opened wide as he lunged at Sirene. Her screams filled the morning air, startling the carrion birds and sending them away, and they echoed throughout the charred, hallowed-out buildings. Before long, Sirene’s screaming stopped and Jack-O stood tall, wiping traces of blood from his mouth and letting out a light burp.

He looked up at his effigy, the one thing still standing among the ruins, and then turned and walked away from the bones of the village.

“Now, let us see what other terror I can visit on this world,” he said as the lantern hanging from his waist flared bright.

The End
