Rebecca lay in bed and stared at the ceiling with a big smile on her face. Her nipples were still rock hard and still felt warm, awash in the sense of pleasure. She looked over at Lea, who was fast asleep next to her. Both women were naked due to the heat in the room and Rebecca traced her finger across the taut tricep on Lea’s right arm. She admired the big woman’s chiseled physique and her flawless, mocha-colored skin.

Rebecca shimmied over until she was nuzzled against Lea, and she sighed and put her arm around her and closed her eyes. She then felt Lea shift and roll over, and Rebecca gasped as the big woman rolled over on to her.

“Gah! Lea!” Rebecca let out a muffled cry, tapping her tiny green hand across Lea’s hard muscles. “Lea! Your smooshing me!” she tried pushing her off, but she may as well have been trying to move a brick building. Lea grunted, mustering what little physical strength she had. A tit smothered part of her face, and Lea’s alluring scent filled Rebecca’s nose as she tried to lift the woman off of her. She squirmed and wiggled, but Lea was out cold. After a few minutes, Rebecca sighed and gave up.

“Well...I guess this is my life now…”

In the other bedroom, Thera was sound asleep, the sheets of the bed only half covering her flawless nakedness. Naomi sat on the edge of the bed, a woman again, and looked at her tattoo-covered lover. She smiled and gently rubbed Thera’s bare foot, and the sorceress stirred lightly but remained asleep. Naomi then sighed and laid down, putting an arm around Thera. Her bare tits were against Thera’s back and Naomi rested her chin on Thera’s shoulder.

“I wonder where the fuck Maddie is…” Naomi said to herself. She then sat up. “Maybe I should go look for her, make sure she’s all right.” She then caught a glimpse of Thera, resting peacefully, and laid back down next to her. “Nah, I’m sure Poppins is fine.”

“Bastard!” Madeline screamed as she swung her sword of light at the Entity, who weaved and dodged her attacks. The creature mocked her with laughter, swiping at her with long claws that she ducked and dodged. Madeline then put some distanced between them and watched the creature closely as it stalked her.

“You are blind, mother. You and the others like you. I can sense their minds in this place, and I will consume them. I will help you see. You will join me and together we will devour all.”

Madeline tightened her grip on her sword, yelled, and charged. She went for a stab and the Entity moved to one side, but Madeline shifted at the last second and slashed, catching the creature in its side. It grunted and reeled, holding an injury that pumped black blood. Madeline moved quickly, following up by bashing it with her shield and then spinning and slashing with a backhand swing of her sword.

The Entity spun and fell to the floor and Madeline charged, yelling and stabbing downward. The Entity shifted and flattened like a puddle, melding into the floor and Madeline nearly lost her footing, screaming as her bare feet got stuck in something that had the consistency of syrup. It crept up her shin, enveloped her naked thighs, began consuming all of her naked body even as she hacked at it, trying to get free. It wrapped around her hips, her waist, her breasts, and lifted her off the ground while seizing her arms, and then the blonde Brit gagged as it tightened around her neck.

The Entity then reformed, holding Madeline by her throat while other arms sprouting from its body immobilized her limbs. A long, snake-like tongue slipped from behind its white teeth and begin licking Madeline’s naked skin.

“Your are...delicious...mother…” it said with a laugh, its cold hands squeezing the vulnerable flesh of her tits. “I will savor our time together and...I will...revel in the taste of your friends...one by one...until they are all part of me….”

“P...part of you?” Madeline asked, trying to break free. “Wha...what are you on about?”

The Entity touched the side of Madeline’s face and its fingers elongated until they slipped into her nose and mouth, snaking into her brain. She let out a pained, muffled scream as her ‘child’ invaded her mind. The same time, she could feel it beginning to melt around her. It was absorbing her into its body, making her one with it. Its oily, shifting flesh absorbed her legs and were pulling her arms in just as it crept into her mind at the same time.

With sheer force of will, Madeline managed to rip an arm free and fought to keep the thickening fog in her mind from overwhelming her. She hear the Entity’s taunts, its whispers growing louder in her head as the coldness of its touch overwhelmed her body while snaking over every naked, vulnerable inch. Madeline put her focus on her free arm, mustering what power she could into her palm.

As the fiend’s taunting grew louder and more persistent, she concentrated until a bright ball of light erupted in her open hand. She then thrust her hand forward, into the Entity’s face, shoving her fist into its grinning mouth. The light on the end of her hand then flared, beams of it piercing the creature’s head like spears, going in every direction.

The Entity let out a horrid screech and Madeline put every ounce of strength she had left into it as the light pulsed, shone, then burst. The shadows in the archive were dispelled for a few brilliant seconds and the Entity exploded with a shrill cry before the light died and plunged the room back into the darkness.

Madeline fell to the floor, landing on her back. Her naked chest heaved with labored breath as lifeless chunks of her ‘child’ showered her and lay pathetically on the ground before shriveling and withering away.

“The girls don’t need to know about this…” Madeline said to herself. “I was engrossed in a book all evening. Yes…” she said to herself before closing her eyes to rest.

The early morning light began flooding into the large window on the suite’s eastern wall. Thera and Rebecca sat at the table with steaming cups of coffee.

“Hey, Thera, question,” Rebecca said.

“Hmm?”

“Who was that guy that was here last night?”

“What guy?” Thera asked. Realization then dawned on her. “Oh...umm…”

Rebecca looked at her with a raised eyebrow and then smiled. “You never got his name did you?” She asked with a laugh.

“Yes! Yes, that’s exactly it,” Thera said quickly. “He was just someone I met in another part of the resort. That’s all.”

Rebecca laughed. She then looked around the room and leaned in. “You think you can find him again? He was kinda cute from what I saw. He looked like he had a hell of an ass on him.”

Thera held her tongue, not sure what to say.

“Yo!” Naomi said, suddenly appearing behind Rebecca and putting her in a headlock. “What are you two over here whispering about?”

“Ugh! Get off of me,” Rebecca said, wiggling out of the hold. “I swear, you’re the worst.”

Thera said nothing. She just took a long sip of her coffee. Lea came out of the shared bathroom, drying her hair with a towel.

“Hey,” the big woman said.

“Any of y’all heard from Poppins?” Naomi asked.

Thera and Rebecca both shook their heads.

“Shit…” Lea said. “She still hasn’t come back?”

“Fuck...we oughta go find her,” Naomi said.

“Okay,” Thera said, getting up quickly. “I’ll go talk to Primrose and tell her to keep an eye out. You three check the library and I’ll come find you.”

Just as they were about to leave, the door to the suite opened and Madeline wandered in. She looked worn down, her hair was a mess, she was completely naked. She looked at her stunned friends for only a moment and waved.

“Morning, all…” She then wandered over to the couch and collapsed face first. “Oh, my god, this is the most comfortable couch in the universe.” She nuzzled against the soft surface and was asleep in seconds.

The others all stood over her in stunned silence, each of them looking at the others for an explanation.

Thera folded her arms and shrugged. “I’ll go find her a blanket,” she said before walking off.

“Damn,” Lea said. “The librarians here must party hard.”

Naomi put her hands on her hips. “She tuckered herself out reading books. Fucking nerd.” She then punched Rebecca in the shoulder. “Come on, Shorty, we’re going to the breakfast buffet.”

Rebecca perked up. “Oooh, they raspberry muffins you HAVE to try.”

IX

Delta City. Two Years Ago.

“...Witnesses say the monster attack was thwarted in a joint effort between the heroines Star Woman and Scarlet,” the INN reporter explained from the scene on television. “The heroines also did battle with their long-time archenemy Scorpio, who was said to have sent the creature and who escaped as the heroines were occupied. What’s troubling is that, according to eyewitnesses, there was a massive falling out between the two heroines after the monster was defeated.”

The camera panned to a small group of first responders and a tall woman with white skin and long white hair, wearing a skintight, white costume.

“As you can see, Star Woman is right over there, speaking with first responders but Scarlet’s whereabouts are unknown…”

“Tch...Alien mutt whore!” The heroine Scarlet uttered, glaring at the TV in her safehouse somewhere in Delta City. “I swear, I should just leave this fucking city. I’m just as strong and fast as her, but everyone fucking praises that bitch like I don’t exist!”

She slid off her costume, a skintight, bright red, low cut outfit with matching cape, and tossed it aside before stretching her powerful limbs. “If I were able to hunt down that fuck Scorpio and end him, not even that alien cunt could say anything.”

“Spite can be a powerful weapon, Scarlet,” a woman’s voice said.

Scarlet spun around and turned to see Orla standing in her safehouse. Orla waved and then gagged when Scarlet cleared the length of the room in the blink of an eye and grabbed her by her collar, lifting her up.

“Who the fuck are you and how did you get in here?” Scarlet asked, narrowing her eyes.

“You weren’t easy to find,” Orla said. “But...I have a proposition for you, one that involves putting Star Woman and people like her in their place.”

Scarlet looked her over. “Why should I listen to you? You know how easily I can break you?”

Orla stayed calm and a smile formed on her face. “What if I told you I was working on a plan to bring the heroines of this city to heel? From Star Woman on down, and you could be at the heart of it.”

Scarlet narrowed her eyes.

“You’re the strongest there is, Scarlet. It’s time Delta City recognized that.”

Scarlet let Orla go. “30 seconds. Go.”

Orla waved a hand and Slate, Umbra, and Lagoon stepped out of hiding. “You’re going to lead a team, Scarlet. But the name Scarlet won’t do, not for the new you.”

“I’m listening…”

“How do you feel about the name Meta Woman?” Orla asked.

***

“It’s all coming together nicely, ladies.”

Sloan and Orla were in a large office overlooking the city with the Silent Partner on the screen talking to them.

“Our team is growing and soon our plan will be in motion.”

“We have Daydream scanning the city for more recruits,” Sloan said. She was buttoned up in a conservative woman’s suit, her dark hair tied neatly in a bun. “Star Woman’s team is varied, so our people will need to be, too.”

“You’re searching for more prospects?” The Silent Partner asked.

“Yes,” Sloan said. “There’s a woman in the city’s Saldana neighborhood, a gang leader…”

“Muerte. I’m familiar. She’s rather difficult and unpleasant. I would advise against it.”

“We could put one of the control implants in her head, like we did with Daydream and the others,” Sloan said.

“True, but the resources you’d expend confronting her would offset the benefit,” the Silent Partner explained.

“Should we target her for elimination?” Orla asked.

“Not yet,” The Silent Partner answered. “She’s preoccupied with her own little blood feud against a pissant police commander in the area. She won’t be in our way. There’s a heroine who operates in that same neighborhood, but she’s far down our list of threats. Focus on Star Woman’s team for now.”

“Okay,” Orla said. She looked back at the bound and gagged Daydream. “We’ll have Daydream keep probing in the meantime. There might be more people we can locate and sway to our side.”

“Excellent,” The Silent Partner said. “Where are we on the other partnership we discussed?”

“It’s moving,” Sloan reported. “Something that big takes time to mobilize, but it is happening.”

“As I thought. That’s fine,” The Silent Partner said. “I don’t trust the man one bit, but we can use his army when the time comes. All right, carry on, ladies. I will be watching.”

Madeline stirred on the couch and then woke up, groggy. “Wha…?” She looked around the suite. “Oh, right…” She sat up, pulling the blanket around her naked shoulders. “Girls?” She then looked down at the table and found a note saying the others had gone to breakfast. Almost on cue, the busty blonde Brit’s stomach growled. “After the night I had, I am famished…”

She got up to go to the bathroom and stumbled, feeling somewhat dizzy. All kinds of aches reminded her of what happened the night before and she took a minute to adjust and collect herself. “You’re fine, Maddie. You took a pounding from a some cosmic horror and bounced right back. Get yourself together,” she told herself.

The pain washed away after a few minutes, but there was just enough of it lingering that Madeline didn’t feel or see the formless black thing slip from her pussy and quickly slither across the floor and into someone’s bag.

“Right...get cleaned up and then get some breakfast,” Madeline said before she walked to the bathroom.

***

“Naomi, you are out of your fucking mind,” Lea said from across the table.

“How?!” Naomi asked. She then looked at Thera and Rebecca. “You two think it makes sense, right?”

Lea sighed. “Naomi, I promise you on everything there is, Asa is not a virgin.”

“I don’t believe it,” Naomi said. “Have you fucked her?”

“No.”

“Have either of you?” she asked Thera and Rebecca.

“No,” Rebecca answered.

“Not in this reality…” Thera uttered.

“So then how do you know?” Naomi insisted.

“You are such a jackass,” Rebecca said. “Asa’s very private. Leave her alone. I don’t think she is either, but even if she is, what’s it matter?”

“I’m just saying, she wouldn’t be so uptight if she got laid once in a while.”

“Asa is not uptight,” Thera protested. “She is a very pleasant and sweet person.”

“Yeah,” Rebecca said. “If her personality changed for the worst, it wasn’t until your ass showed up,” she teased.

Lea and Thera laughed and Naomi narrowed her eyes at Thorn, who grinned at her and ate her breakfast.

Naomi started to say something to her but then looked up past her. “Oh shit. Look who’s back from the dead.”

Everyone turned just as Madeline arrived at the table with two plates stacked high.

“Hey ladies,” she said, sitting down with a sigh. She wore a tight t-shirt and pair of shorts. “I am starving and everything looked so good.”

“What the hell happened to you last night?” Rebecca asked.

“Nothing,” Madeline said quickly. “I went to the library like I said, and that’s that.” She saw skeptical looks on everyone’s face.

“So, what, you read naked?” Naomi asked.

“Sometimes, yes,” Madeline answered.

“But why were you so exhausted?” Thera asked.

“It was a very thrilling book.”

“Mads, if you were with a guy, or girl, whatever, just say that,” Lea said.

“It was just me and my book,” she insisted. “Now please, can I enjoy my breakfast?” Without waiting for an answer, she began eating. The others just shrugged and kept talking.

“So what are we doing today?” Naomi asked.

“There’s a wonderful waterfall about an hour’s walk from here,” Thera said. “The pool at the bottom is very relaxing. I was going there if anyone would like to join.”

“I’m down,” Naomi said. “Lea?”

“Sure.”

“Shorty?”

“Yeah, I’ll go,” Rebecca answered.

“Did you pack your water wings?” Naomi asked.

“Shut up!” Rebecca fumed and Naomi cackled.

“Ugh, I hate you…” Rebecca said before she was interrupted by ringing. She went into her pocket and took out her phone. “Hello?”

Naomi looked at her. “How the hell does her phone work here?”

“Oh, that’s a special one that works across the dimensions. I put a spell on it and we usually have one when we travel to other worlds so Delphi or someone else back in Delta City can call us in an emergency.”

Rebecca quickly put the phone away and got up. “City’s under attack. We gotta go!” She left, Lea and Thera got up to leave and Naomi followed. She then stopped.

“Poppins, let’s roll,” she said to Madeline.

“But I haven’t finished breakfast,” Madeline said, still with one plate of food. She yelped when Naomi grabbed her arm and yanked her out of the chair. She yelped again when Naomi smacked her on the ass before shoving her ahead.

“Move it, English!”

Madeline went back to the table and grabbed her plate before she and Naomi left.

***

Some time later, a portal opened over a rooftop somewhere in the city and luggage dropped out before the heroines did.

“What the fuck…” Naomi asked, looking around.

The sky was filled with dozens, possibly hundreds of winged bipeds flying around and swooping low, attacking people in the streets. Police sirens around and a black helicopter flew high above, with gunfire erupting from its side at the birdmen.

They all tried to make sense of what they were seeing when Naomi stepped away from the group.

“Oh, shit!” Rebecca yelled. “Bonehead, look out!”

“Wha- FUCK!” Naomi screamed as two of them swooped down and were on her in an instant. They carried her off as she cursed and punched them.

“Naomi!” Thera yelled before running after them. She summoned a pair of glowing wings and took off after them.

Lea, Madeline, and Rebecca closed ranks as more of them descended from the sky toward them. Lea cracked her knuckles and punched one out of midair and Madeline made a barrier of light that deflected them and made them back away.

Just then, a fireball erupted in the air and scorched them, dropping them to the city streets below. Blaze lowered onto the rooftop on two jets of flame, in her bright red, skimpy costume, and grinned and waved.

“Hi guys!” The redheaded heroine said. “How was the trip?”

“Cindy, what the hell is happening here?” Lea asked.

Before she could answer, another of the birdmen hit the ground and with Mantis standing on its back, holding a thin wire wrapped around its neck. She stepped toward them, wrapped in her cape as the helicopter that was above hovered low toward the roof.

“Sentinel had a containment breach,” Mantis explained, having to yell over the sound of the helicopter rotors.

“Yeah! That was my bad. Sorry!” Agent Fox yelled from the open door of the helicopter before firing the machine gun at more of them.

Mantis sighed and looked at the others. “Vacation’s over, girls. Xanthe and Crane are already out there. The city’s watching. Get to work.” She then ran and leapt from the roof, grabbing a birdman and forcing him to fall.

“Seeya out there,” Blaze said before jetting away.

Lea shrugged. “All right. Let’s get to it.”

Rebecca grabbed a pouch of seeds from her bag and then followed Lea.

“Wait, what about the bags?” Madeline yelled after them, signaling their luggage.

“Forget the bags, Maddie. We’ll get them later!” Lea said.

Madeline sighed. “I just wanted to finish my breakfast…”. She looked down at the plate she was still carrying and quickly scarfed down a muffin. She then looked up and screamed when one of the birdmen swooped down at her, making her drop her breakfast. “Oh that’s it!” she said before chasing after the offender.

Once they were gone, Madeline’s bag stirred and the black, shapeless lifeform slipped out and slithered across the rooftop. It lingered for a moment before something caused it to perk up. It seemed to look around for several moments before picking a direction and slithering away.

XI

Delta City. Today.

“What a shit show,” Orla said with a smile. She and Sloan watched a news report about the heroines fighting the bird creatures all over the city. It was on every local news channel in Delta City.

“Should we send our people out?” Sloan asked.

“No,” the Silent Partner answered. He was watching from a monitor behind the sisters. “Let this play out. Let them have their moment and their media attention. Their time will come.”

They were in a secluded room in a corporate tower somewhere in the city. Daydream was nearby, restrained against the wall with her head covered in a helmet that hid her eyes and had wires sticking out of it. She was completely silent and motionless, the only sign of life being her naked chest rising and falling with her breathing.

“Well, if that’s all, I’m tired of watching this,” Orla said. “Those stupid birdmen better not shit all over my car.”

“I am curious as to how Sentinel is going to cover up this blunder,” The Silent Partner said. “Whatever the case, this is not our problem. Good day to you, ladies.” And then he signed off.

Sloan turned off the monitor. “I guess we’re doing lunch in the cafeteria with all of this going on out there today.”

Orla shrugged. “I hope they have those sliders today,” she said as she and her sister left the room.

Moments later, life stirred in one of the vents that led into the room, and the Entity slipped through the grates and down the the wall. It lay on the floor, eyeing the captive Daydream before slithering to her. The then made its way up her bound body, sliding around her back and resting on her shoulder.

“...I sense...anger and rage within you…” the Entity spoke.

Daydream remained silent.

“I could sense your anger and rage far from here, when your mind reached out and touched mine...You seek revenge against those who have done this to you.”

She stayed silent and still.

“Agree to be my host, and I will promise you power to obtain your vengeance.”

The captive superhuman stirred lightly.

“...Allow me to persuade you…” The Entity said before slipping around her shoulder and into her mouth. Daydream gagged and her body bucked as it entered her, and then images flooded her mind. She saw the hellish, lightless world this creature came from. She saw the terror it inflicted on other life. She saw its battle with Madeline and its desire to feed on the other Aphrodites once it learned about them. She saw what it was capable of and the faintest of smiles crossed her lips. The creature then slid out of her mouth and took its place back on her shoulder.

“...Do you wish to know this power?”

“...Yes…” she said in a very hoarse voice.

“Then we will be one. Together, we will be a Blight on this world.”

“Blight…” Daydream repeated the word.

“But first, I must recover and reform,” The Entity said before it made its way down her body.

Daydream gasped as it penetrated her and wormed its way into her vagina. She felt it moving around, life inside of her womb, and she could already begin to feel power surging throughout her bound body.

A smile crossed her face. Her heart raced. She could feel the thing merging with her, turning her into something different.

“I must first observe. And then we will feed,” The Entity’s voice echoed in her head.

The door opened and Orla walked back in. She walked over to a desk and grabbed her purse before pausing and looking at Daydream. She cautiously walked over, eyeing her captive curiously. Orla put a hand on her chin and moved her head side to side, but got no response.

The doctor narrowed her eyes at Daydream but said nothing. She simply turned and walked back out with her purse.

“We will make a meal of this world yet,” Blight said, in the combined voices of Daydream and the Entity.

The End
