Superia #11: The Heist pt. 4

by Sigma

Previously, on Superia: Veronica and Morgan have rescued Mind’s Eye from Cain Barrett, successfully keeping him out of Panopticon’s hands, but Veronica was injured in the process. Meanwhile, Superia and Calico raided Wade Tower and stole information connecting Panopticon to Viper, but Superia allowed herself to be captured so Calico could escape with the data. Meanwhile, Daydream is reliving her memories to her youth under her tyrannical mother in Georgia 20 years prior.

Interlude – Georgia

The bruises were gone. Casey looked in astonishment at her naked body in the mirror in her bedroom. Her womanly curves were flawless, even after, the night before, Vicki Lynn had flown into a rage over her daughter’s belligerence and struck her repeatedly, even burned her with a cigarette. There was no evidence of any of that, just full breasts, strong thighs, and a flat stomach. No marks, no pain, Casey had no idea what was happening to her, but she liked it.

The itch in her head came again and pulled her attention to he door.

Then sharp, repeated knocking on her bedroom door brought her back to reality.

Why the fuck is this door locked?!” Vicki Lynn screamed through the door. “You don’t lock doors in my fuckin’ house!”

Casey grabbed her robe and quickly put it on, just moments before Vicki Lynn managed to force it open and stormed through. Her face was red with anger as she stared at her daughter, seemingly caught off guard that she bore no evidence of last night’s ‘discipline’. Vicki Lynn quickly collected herself.

What the fuck is wrong with you, you little bitch?! Your useless ass don’t pay any bills around here!”

Casey folded her arms and narrowed her eyes at her mother.

I’m talkin’ to you, little girl!” Vicki Lynn said stomping toward her. She grabbed Casey’s hair and pulled. “You answer me, ya hear?!”

Casey pushed her back. “Shut UP! You stupid cunt!”

Vicki Lynn froze in genuine shock. “What the fuck did you just call me?!”

Casey was surprised at the boldness and the words herself, but there was no backing down now. “Y...you heard me!”

Vicki Lynn’s jaw dropped. “You little...I ruined my body and lost 18 years of my life because of your ass and this is how you do me?!” She picked up a mug that was on the nightstand by the door and threw it, managing to wing Casey in the head. Casey staggered from the blow and then turned when Vicki Lynn slapped her. “Don’t you ever fuckin’ talk to me like that!”

Casey stood there, holding her face.

You’re lazy, stupid, and fuckin’ useless, just like your daddy! I don’t know where that son of a bitch is, but I hope he’s in a fucking ditch and I hope you end up right next to him, you little whore!”

Casey felt her hand tingling and looked down at it when it felt warm.

Don’t stand there starin’ at your hand like a fuckin’ retard! No, you know what? You’re fuckin’ done, little girl. Pack your shit and get outta my house!”

Casey ignored her, watching her hand instead.

Did you hear me?!” Vicki Lynn said. She approached her daughter, intending to hit her again.

I said SHUT UP!” Casey screamed. She thrust her hand out and there was a burst of light, followed by an audible pop, and a force that pushed Vicki Lynn back. She hit the wall and stared, frozen at her daughter as an unmistakable electricity surged in the air.

W...wha?”

Momma...I…” Casey started. Then she noticed something in Vicki Lynn’s eyes. Something she didn’t think she’d ever see. Fear. Something like a switch flipped inside Casey and she smirked. “Momma. I’ma tell you this once. Get the fuck outta my room, or there’s more where that came from.”

Vicki Lynn looked at her daughter in naked fear and, without a word, ran out of the room.

And bring me a sandwich and a soda, you old bitch!” Casey shouted with a smile on her face.

How do you feel, Ms. Chambers?”

Veronica sat up on the bed, clutching her aching side where a large, white bandage was fixed. It was the only thing on her naked body and Roberts, the hotel manager, along with Dr. Reed, one of the family physicians, stood over her. “Splendid,” Veronica said. “How bad was it?”

Not the worst I’ve seen from you, Veronica,” Dr. Reed, a black woman in her 50s, said as she took off a pair of gloves and put them in a trash can. “Still, I wish you’d stop this.”

Can’t. Too much to do. Thanks for your help, Eleanor.”

Dr. Reed nodded. “I’d tell you to rest, but I know you won’t. Just be careful, all right?” Roberts and Dr. Reed then shook hands before Dr. Reed grabbed her bag and left.

Hand me my robe, Roberts,” Veronica said.

Roberts handed her a sheer, light green robe and Veronica climbed out of bed and put it on, her shapely curves stretching the fabric. She tied it around her slim waist. “Where are Morgan and Mr. Kang?”

Out in the main area, I believe,” Roberts told her. “Do your parents know you’re here?”

No, and they don’t need to. I am 33 years old, Roberts. I am my own person and I don’t need father giving me another lecture,” Veronica said. “Keep all of this quiet.”

Of course,” Roberts said.

Veronica put on a pair of fuzzy slippers and walked out of the room.

The night air over Nova City was cool with the sounds of the city distant this high up. Morgan and Wei stood on the balcony outside the suite in silence, their energy drained after the adrenaline crash. Wei took a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and took one out before lighting it.

Uh…” Morgan said.

Wei turned to her.

Could I get one of those?”

Wei held the pack out of her. “You still smoke when you are stressed?”

I really should quit,” Morgan said before taking it and then his lighter when he offered. “I’m getting better about it, though.”

They both smoked and looked out into the city.

Is Delta City like this place?” Wei asked.

It’s bigger, I think,” Morgan said. “Probably more dangerous too. But I think you’ll like it there.”

Wei nodded. “I want to thank you, for helping me escape. I was unsure if you two would make it in time.”

Morgan smiled. “It’s all right. Besides, we still have a lot of work to do.”

Yes,” Wei said. “I intend to uncover Lord Viper’s identity and find everything I can about this Panopticon. I am eager to meet all of the others.”

Morgan smiled and rubbed him on the shoulder. “I am starving…” she said. “We usually pig out after a big mission because everyone’s so amped up. The food here at the hotel is amazing.”

Oh, I am aware,” Wei told her. “I’ve had dinner here a few times. I like the duck.”

Yes!” Morgan beamed. “So good! We can order whatever we want while we go over the info on your drive. It’s a start, but we aren’t flying back until the morning and I don’t think I’m going to sleep anyway.”

That makes two of us,” Wei said.

The door opened and Veronica walked onto the balcony. Her nipples were hard under her robe and she pulled it around her at the sudden snap of cold. “Aren’t you two freezing?”

Should you be up, Ms. Chambers?” Wei asked.

I’ll be fine, Wei. I’ve survived worse. We aren’t done yet. Let’s get some food and start dissecting this intel. We’re flying back to Delta first thing in the morning.”

Morgan smiled and put an arm around Wei’s shoulder. “Wei wants the duck, I think I’ll have some too. We should get some desserts too.” She looked at Wei. “They have this banana cake that is just…”

Veronica smiled listening to Morgan when something caught her attention on a distant rooftop. A quick glint of light that went away as suddenly as it appeared. Her heart sank in her chest, but she didn’t hear herself yell to Morgan and Wei before the sound of the shot.

Morgan jumped at the sound. She felt something splash against her face, and the next thing she knew, she was on the ground. She didn’t understand what she was seeing at first. Wei lay next to her. His eyes were wide open, and there was a perfect, bloody hole in the center of his forehead.

Everything was in a haze as strong hands grabbed her arm and dragged her back into the suite.

Suddenly she was behind glass and two quick cracks appeared and formed a spiderweb across her reflection. Morgan looked at her own face in the glass and saw it covered in blood.

Morgan!” Veronica screamed. “Morgan! Are you hit?!”

She couldn’t hear anything Veronica was saying. All she saw was Wei’s dead body laying on the ground. She didn’t even hear herself scream.

*

Cain Barrett grumbled and lifted his head from behind the scope of the sniper rifle. One target eliminated. The most important one. But still, only one. He leaned back down and watched the two women inside the suite, with one screaming at the other. He recognized one from the club. The other looked like the woman he slashed, but her hair was different.

No matter. The job in Nova City was blown, but he managed to salvage something from it. He got to his knees and began disassembling and packing his rifle away with practiced efficiency

Delphi fell into her chair, her lips quivering as she listened to what Calico told her. She looked up after several long seconds.

Jenny, tell me this is a joke…”

Jenny shook her head and wiped her eyes. “They caught her, Anisa. She held them off long enough for me to run, but they caught her…”

Who was it?”

Jenny looked down. “A girl with a baseball bat, a big guy who turned his skin into stone, and some freaky fish-man.”

Delphi pinched the bridge of her nose and leaned back in her chair. “This is not good…” She heard a thud and looked to see the drive on the table.

That’s what we took from Lowe’s office computer,” Jenny explained. “There was another person there, too.”

Who?”

I don’t know. She was young, dark hair, wore an American Flag bikini. Naomi thought she was with them, but I dunno...”

Delphi considered the drive. “Dark hair and American flag...Okay...I’ll worry about that later. I need to work on getting Naomi out of there.” She opened her laptop.

Umm…” Jenny said.

You’ll have your payment in a few minutes,” Delphi said.

No, it’s not that.”

Delphi turned to her.

I have to leave,” Jenny said. “Whoever these people are, I don’t want to mess with them any more than I have. I need to go get Bailey from my parents and disappear. This is way above my pay grade, Anisa.”

Delphi nodded. “I get it, Jenny. Go. Be with your daughter.”

Jenny nodded. “Good luck. And...I hope you get Naomi back.” She then quickly ran out.

Delphi waited for her to leave and then slammed her hand on the desk. “Dammit! This is my fault!” she said to herself. She took a deep breath. “Focus, Anisa. Focus. Naomi needs you. Okay. This can’t possibly be any worse, right?”

Then her phone rang and she looked at the screen. “Veronica?”

*

Veronica stood at the balcony door, staring at the two bullet holes. A small group of police officers on the Chambers family payroll, along with Roberts and Dr. Reed, worked to cover Wei’s body and wheel it out on a stretcher. As they rolled it through the living room, Morgan sat on the couch, sobbing loudly.

Anisa, we have a problem…” Veronica said, looking at Wei’s drive in her hand.

It was rumored among the halls of the Panopticon Project that Dr. Orla Adams, head of research, had certain “appetites.” Many of the staff had seen men and women, some known of them, many unknown, come in and out of her office at all hours, but no one questioned it. She and her sister had control over the small team of superhumans the project focused on, and no one wanted to be targeted by them, so they kept their mouths shut when it came to Dr. Adams.

Sloan thought about this often, and wondered secretly if it was going to be a liability. Orla was always something of a deviant, and someone who went after what she wanted, no matter what it was, but she always controlled it so Sloan had no reason to worry. Still, she had to act as the counterbalance to her sister.

The two of them shared a private office, the largest in the sub-basement reserved for their project, and Orla had no problem bringing her playthings back there.

Even now, Sloan sat at her desk with a mug of tea and and reports from Umbra, in her disguise as firebrand media personality Sara Bradley as she carried on with her orders to disparage the Maidens and turn the public against them. It looked to be working, with public perception against them sliding thanks to the smear campaign. At the same time, Meta Woman was going around the the city, stopping crimes orchestrated by the sisters and ensuring the cameras were rolling. Before long, they would introduce the rest of the group to the public and fully bury the Maidens in the court of public opinion. The Maidens would then have no choice but to submit, retire, or be crushed once and for all.

Sloan looked across her desk when she heard whimpering, and saw a young woman on her back, with a ball gag in her mouth and her naked body wrapped tight in leather straps. Orla’s bare feet were propped up on the girl’s tits as her sister considered her nails.

Orla moved her dark hair behind her shoulders and looked up. “Sloan, I’m going to paint my nails. Emerald or Ruby?”

Sloan leaned back in her chair and sipped her tea. “Ruby. You did emerald a few weeks ago.”

Ah, that I did!” Orla said before looking through a case for her nail polish.

The girl under her foot whimpered and whined as Orla moved her feet. Sloan didn’t know her name, just that she was some intern, freshly graduated from Delta City University and working in their media department. Sloan’s eyes slid down the girl’s flawless body, where a white vibrator hummed between her legs, making them quiver.

Orla popped the top on her ruby nail polish. “Don’t move now,” she said to her living footrest. “If I mess this up, that’s your ass,” she said with sweet but menacing tone. The girl only nodded with wide, fearful eyes and Sloan went back to her reports. She only looked up again when her phone on her desk rang. She picked it up. “It’s Mr. Barrett,” she told Orla before putting it on speaker. “What do you have to report?”

The target had to be eliminated. There was interference that made capture impossible.”

The sisters looked at each other. “What interference?” Sloan asked.

One of the Maidens, I suspect,” Cain said. “The Mantis.”

Cunt,” Orla mouth quietly.

I’ll send an incident report shortly. I have suspicions about the Mantis’ identity based on circumstances encountered.”

Sloan sat up straight. “Is that so? Very good. I’ll look into it.”

Regardless, I can’t get to her now. She’s in a fortified position, but Mind’s Eye is off the board. The Maidens won’t have him either.”

Sloan nodded. “Understood. Don’t worry, Mr. Barrett we had a win here. One of the Maidens is in our custody. We caught her breaking into the building.”

Which one?”

Superia.”

Interesting.”

If there’s anything of her left when you get back, I’ll let you interrogate her,” Orla said with a laugh.

Your job in Nova City is done. Come back,” Sloan told him.

Understood,” Cain said before ending the call.

Orla and Sloan looked at each other and smiled. “If we unmask the Mantis, we can have Umbra run with that,” Orla said.

Exactly what I was thinking. This is good. This is very good,” Sloan answered.

Orla closed her nail polish without painting her nails and got up.

Where are you going?” Sloan asked.

To play with my new doll,” Orla said. She looked at the intern tied up in front of her. “I don’t want this one anymore,” she said before leaving.

Sloan watched her sister go and chuckled before sipping her tea and continuing with Umbra’s report. She looked up when she heard whimpering and eyed the intern, who squirmed naked in her bonds. “Don’t look at me,” Sloan said to her.

Orla walked through the halls, humming to herself when she crossed paths with Wade Industries CEO Richard Lowe, walking out of one of the laboratories. They met at the open doorway, in view of Daydream, strapped to a vertical slab with her naked body on display and a large, metal hood covering the upper part of her head.

Dr. Adams,” Lowe said. “A moment, please.”

Richard Lowe stood at an imposing height, something that often served him well, but Orla, tall for a woman but still a full head beneath Lowe’s height, wasn’t the least bit intimidated.

I’m told we’ve captured one of the Maidens. The one called Superia?”

She was upstairs in the C-suite. She and whoever she was with were breaking into the computer systems. IT is combing through, seeing what they took now,” Orla said.

I should have been told about this the moment there was a breach.”

Orla simply smiled at him. “Perhaps. Those computers do contain information about Panopticon, as well as your...past life, but even if they go public with that information, we have a disinformation campaign set up to deal with that.”

Lowe didn’t seem reassured, but his face was a mask of calm. “The board needs to know about all of this.”

I don’t think the Wade brat is going to take kindly to what we’re doing here,” she teased.

I am not talking about Brenda Wade and you know that,” Lowe said. He looked around and kept his voice down. “Those of us who were members of Viper have kept a low profile. Do not mess this up now, not after all we’ve built.”

You need to relax...Lord Viper,” Orla said aloud. She then gagged when Lowe seized her by the neck and lifted her with one hand. He was surprisingly strong, despite being in his 60s and rail thin. Orla growled, kicked, and clawed at him, but she stopped when Lowe slammed her against the wall.

Understand this, you arrogant cow,” Lowe growled. “Don’t think that just because you and that ice queen of a sister of yours run this program, that you are in charge. I have been doing this since you were but a twinkle in your father’s eye. You would do well to tread to carefully. Is that understood?”

When, red faced and gagging, Orla didn’t answer, Lowe squeezed her neck harder. She finally huffed and nodded.

Good,” he said. He then looked back in the lab at Daydream and let Orla go. She fell to her knees, coughing and gasping for air. “Where is this new captive? I thought she’d be in this lab.”

Down the hall…” Orla glared at him and pointed.

Lowe nodded. “I’ll see to her later.” He then walked away without another word.

Orla held her neck, wincing at a fresh bruise on her skin and watched him go. She then looked at Daydream before walking in the opposite direction.

Inside the lab, Daydream was still in her bonds, shifting only slightly as the Entity stirred within her and its voice echoed in her head.

The fat one...just like your mother...a bully until she gets bullied herself.”

Daydream said nothing, but images of her mother’s fury and cowardice filled her head.

Yes…” the Entity said. As he spoke, a shifting growth on Daydream’s back expanded and dark gray tendrils slipped over her narrow shoulders. They caressed her vulnerable curves and teased the tender flesh of her thighs. One tendril toyed with the lips of her womanhood, drawing out a slight whimper from the captive and subjugated heroine. The Entity continued spreading its influence over her, progressing the slow process of one being joined in symbiosis. “She was the one who did this to you. We will devour her first before visiting the Blight upon this place.”

Yes…” Daydream said simply.

My recovery is nearly complete. Then we will escape.”

Daydream gasped as the Entity inserted a tendril inside of her increasingly wet womanhood and its laugh echoed in her mind.

*

Orla continued down the hall, her face red with anger and humiliation as she still felt Lowe’s grip on her neck. She was getting close to one of her labs when her phone rang. She took it out of the pocket of her lab coat. “What is it?”

Do not take that tone with me because Lowe humbled you, doctor.”

Orla stiffened and froze at the voice of the Silent Partner and then looked up at one of the security cameras.

Still, he is not to be trusted. Be very wary of him,” the Silent Partner warned.

Your concern for my well being is endearing…” Orla said.

That is not why I am calling you. You have Naomi Grant in your custody.”

Orla walked to the door of the lab. Naomi was inside, suspended in the air inside of a metal, wheel-shaped contraption with her hands and feet bound. Her naked, athletically toned body was on full display and her head as slumped over. “What about it?”

I want you to extract some information from her,” The Silent Partner said. “Since the days of Star Woman, these cows have been organized by someone who calls herself Delphi. Make Superia tell you who that is, and we will crush them once and for all.”

Fine,” Orla said. She ended the call and put her phone away before taking off her lab coat. Underneath she wore a black, sleeveless dress that hugged her plump figure. Her plunging neckline showed off the doctor’s ample cleavage and she took a few steps before taking her shoes off. A smile crossed her bright red lips as she tossed her hair back and walked toward the captive Naomi.

The heroine was still out like a light, and Orla ran her fingers across the exquisitely leans muscles of her body, paying extra attention to the defined abs. She cupped Naomi’s perfectly formed breasts in her hand, playing with the supple flesh. Her own nipples hardened in her bra as she slid her hand between Naomi’s legs, toying with the captive heroine’s tight, damp womanhood. She then licked the dew off her fingers, sucking them dry. Orla looked at the metal suppression collar on Naomi’s neck then struck her hard with the palm of her hand.

Naomi gasped and woke up, lifting her head. “Wha...where am I?!” she demanded. She pulled at the metal holding her hands and feet. “What the fuck is this?! Who are you?!”

Orla smiled and stood on the tips of her toes, forcing a kiss on Naomi’s mouth. Orla gently bit Naomi’s lip before pulling back and smiled, admiring the human work of art in front of her. “My name is Orla, Naomi. As far as you’re concerned, I’m your new god.”

A look crossed Naomi’s face that was a mix of anger and confusion. “Let me the fuck out of here, you fat bitch!”

Oh...I’m gonna have fun breaking you…” Orla said. She walked away to press a button on the console, closing and locking the door to the lab. Orla then walked to a small metal table and opened a case. Inside were several syringes filled with liquids of different colors and consistencies. “Eeny, meenie, minie, moe…” Orla said to herself before settling on the vial with bright pink liquid. She picked it up, raised it, and turned a predatory grin on Naomi before walking back toward her.

What are you doing?! What is that?!” Naomi screamed. “Get the fuck away from me!”

Epilogue

Lowe grunted as the contents of the syringe were injected into his neck. A slim hand then touched his shoulder. “How does that feel, my lord?”

He turned to a woman in her 30s, with short brown hair and a dignified air about her. “Fine, Eden, thank you.”

Eden nodded and put the empty syringe in a case. “I saw what you did to Dr. Adams on the security cameras. It seems the longevity treatments are still effective.”

Lowe nodded. “Still, I am on borrowed time…” He then looked at his phone when it rang. Eden handed it to him and he answered. “...Son?” Lowe said into his phone after some panicked chatter. “Why are you in a locker?...I see...I will send some men to free you, but you are to remain home. I have something I need to do.” He ended the call and sighed. “What am I going to do with that boy?” He asked.

He is the future of Viper, my lord. The longevity treatments may restore your vitality for a time, but they are part of his DNA because of your experiments when he was still in the womb. Your clone’s slowed aging and long life assure he will lead us into the future when you are gone, my lord.”

He is my son, Eden. You will refer to him as such,” Lowe said. He turned to her. “You would do well to remember that.”

Eden paused, remembering her place. “Yes, my lord.”

Lowe nodded and stood. He was in another sub-basement of Wade Tower, one only people in his inner circle knew about. Importantly, that didn’t include the Adams sisters.

He entered a small office and turned on the lights, revealing a wall lined with screens. As he approached, the screens blinked to life, revealing the images of shadowy figures.

Ladies and gentlemen,” Lowe addressed his audience. “I regret to inform you that a sensitive data cache may have been compromised by the Maidens of Might.”

What are our partners doing about it?” One person, a woman, asked.

Nothing, which is why I believe we must began putting our plan into action. The sisters have captured the heroine Superia. I plan to interrogate her myself, but should that fail, we need to prepare for a confrontation.”

Do the Maidens know we have one of their own?” A man asked.

It’s likely. There were two thieves, but only Superia was captured.”

What is your plan, Lord Viper?”

Activate our dormant assets all over the city, access our warehouses, bring all automated forces online, and standby.”

What levels of dormant assets?”

All,” Lowe said. “From City Hall, to police and essential services on down.”

That will bring Sentinel if we mobilize,” One warned.

I am aware,” Lowe said. “But the sisters and their pet superhumans cannot be controlled, so it cannot be helped that we must make this move. We will crush them along with Sentinel and the Maidens, if we must.”

Understood, Lord Viper,” one member said.

Lowe nodded. “Glory to Viper!”

Glory to Viper!” they repeated.

***

Elsewhere in Delta City, a door opened into a darkened luxury penthouse apartment and a lone, tall figure crept through the shadows. They took a few steps before light filled the place.

The girl in the star-spangled bikini stood frozen, her baby blue eyes wide in panic as she stared at the imposing figure seated on the couch. She was a tall, lean woman with pale blonde hair in her 40s, and she crossed her arms across her chest.

“….Heeey Freya…” the girl said.

What in God’s name are you wearing, Brenda?” Freya Hudson, Brenda Wade’s longtime guardian, stood up and approached her. “And what are these bruises?!” She asked, noticing brown and purple bruises all over the girl’s face, stomach and chest.

I...tripped?” Brenda offered.

You went out to fulfill these ridiculous vigilante fantasies, even after I told you not to.”

Freya, I…It’s Lowe! He’s up to something, and so are those two weird sisters!”

Did Wade Security do this to you?” Freya asked.

No…”

Then who?”

It was one of the Maidens...she thought I was an enemy, even after I tried to tell her I wasn’t.”

Which one?” Freya asked.

Superia.”

The one with the temper, yes,” Freya said with a sigh. “Go change,” Freya said, shoving the girl in the direction of her bedroom.

Love you, Freya!” Brenda said.

I’m not finished with you, young lady!” Freya told her. She shook her head, thankful Brenda was okay. She then looked up when the phone rang. She walked over and picked it up. “Wade residence.”

Ms. Freya Hudson?” a distorted voice came in.

Out of instinct, Freya looked out the window at the city skyline. “...Who is this?”

My name is Delphi, Ms. Hudson. I think we should talk.”

The End
