Grim (Teen Squad Adventures no. 5)

by Sigma

I

The young woman woke with a start and tried to sit up, only to realize her wrists and ankles were bound with rope. She felt a cold stone slab under her naked back and she was lying under a warm, summer night sky.

“Wh...where am I?” she asked, looking around.

That instant, a woman leaned over her with a sinister look on her pale face.

“Who...who are you?!” The girl screamed, squirming naked in her bonds. “Where’s Jarod?!”

The woman smiled. Her teeth were stained and she turned her head and pointed. The girl turned and saw another altar, where two more pale women, their bodies naked and covered in arcane markings, stood over a naked young man strapped to the altar as they chanted. Energy swirled in the air around them and the man screamed into his gag as he fought against the bonds.

The energy surged and plunged into the man’s body, causing him to convulse. The girl screamed as her boyfriend’s body twisted into a grotesque mass before taking on a new, misshapen form. The creature tore the bonds away and got up from the altar. It stood nearly seven feet tall, lean and hairless, and its body was covered in chittering, slavering mouths.

The creature lumbered over to the girl, who was crying and praying to any god who would listen, and it ran its cold hands across her supple, naked body. The mouths on its hands nipped at her flesh, licking the curves of her naked tits.

The three witches stood aside, watching with smiles as the horror leaned over the offering they provided. The main mouth on its head then opened wide and the creature leaned in to feed. Screams echoed on the night air, sending birds flying, and then they stopped after a few seconds.

The creature stood over a bloodstreaked altar and turned to the witches while wiping its grinning mouth.

The witches froze, looked at each other, and backed away. The creature cackled and began running at them and the witches turned and fled in the other direction. One of them, a slightly plump woman with dark hair, was captured. Her screams carried on the air and then fell silent. Soon after, the second witch, this one thin with brown hair, fell as the creature came upon her, leaving only one witch left to flee into the dark of the woods.

As she fled, the howling of wolves echoed on the night air.

“Guys…” Anita Jackson said, kneeling over an open bag. She looked up across their campsite and saw Jessica Lockhart and Summer Morgan setting up tents. “Where’s the food?” she asked when she had their attention.

The two blonde teens looked at each other and then at Anita.

“Oh...shit…” Jess said. “Yumi was supposed to bring the food, but then she ditched us to go train with her granddad or something…”

“Well what are we supposed to eat?!” Anita huffed. “We’re out here all weekend!”

“Don’t worry about it,” Summer said proudly. “Texas Star taught me how to forage. So that’s what we’ll do!”

“You mean, like...hunting…?” Jess asked. “I don’t want to kill an animal…”

Anita walked up to them. “Well...me neither, but I’m not gonna sit here and starve either.”

“Can’t we just run to the store?” Jess asked.

“We passed the last one two hours ago,” Anita said.

“It’ll be fine,” Summer said. She looked up. “We have plenty of daylight left, and there are actually edible plants all over these woods. It’s fine. Come on,” she said before walking off into the woods with Anita in tow after grabbing a bag to carry things in.

Jess sighed and shook her head. “I should’ve stayed in the city…”

Some time later, twilight began to set in and Summer carried a bag with various berries and other plants.

“We’re supposed to eat berries all weekend? What are we, rabbits?” Jess whined.

“Calm down, Jess,” Anita said. “At least it’s something.” She then smirked. “Besides...I have liquor in my bag…”

Jess smiled slightly at that and Summer looked at Anita.

“Where did you get it?”

Anita looked at Summer. “Tanya’s personal stash she keeps at INN. Everyone there drinks. It’s the media,” she said. “I took it weeks ago. She never even noticed.”

Summer shrugged and they continued on.

“I really do think we should just suck it up tomorrow and go back to that store we saw,” Jess suggested.

“Why?” Summer asked. “That’ll eat up half the day.”

“Because we can’t eat freaking berries and plants all weekend,” Jess said. “We’re gonna be starving!”

“You can go vegetarian for one weekend. It won’t kill you,” Anita said.

“Ugh…I’ll do it,” Jess said. “You guys can stay at camp and I’ll go get food.”

“Jess, you’re being a brat,” Summer said. “We will be fine. This is just like that time you didn’t want to go fight Pervo when he unleashed that mutant...lizard...thing.”

Jessica fumed. “I am not being a brat! And I didn’t want to fight Pervo because the last time I did I ended up having to suck that creepy old man’s dick!”

“That mission did suck…” Anita said. “Still, I agree with Summer. You’ll be all right, Jess.”

“Ugh!” Jess groaned. She then stomped ahead of them. “You two are impossible!” She said, walking forward. “I should have just stayed….AHHH!” she screamed as a rope whipped up from under fallen leaves and the snare around her ankle pulled her up.

“Jess!” Summer yelled. She dropped what she was carrying and ran to help her, only for the ground to give out under her into a pit. She feel in with a scream and hit the ground.

“Oh shit!” Jessica said. “She hit her head. She’s out cold!”

Anita ran to the edge of the pit and saw Summer laying at the bottom, not moving. Jessica dangled uselessly above and Anita grabbed her Got Gem to activate it.

“Anita! Behind you!” Jessica screamed.

Anita turned around just to get hit in the face with a thick, heavy branch. The blow made the busty black teen’s head snap back and she fell into the pit, hitting the ground next to Jess and laying there in an unmoving heap.

“No!! Guys, wake up!” Jess cried out.

On the ground, the third witch walked to the edge of the pit. Her shapely, curvy body bore scratches from having spent the past few days running through brush and unforgiving forest. She looked up at the captive Jessica and the two unconscious teens laying in the hole she dug. “Yes...yes, you three will do nicely…”

***

Summer awoke with a start to the heat of a fire and the sound of ritualistic chanting. She was on her knees with her wrists bound behind her with tight rope. Jessica and Anita were tied up much the same next to her. She looked around the forest clearing they were in. There were two altars, one stained with blood, and bones all over the ground. The witch stood naked, her body covered in arcane markings painted on. She held out her long arms, chanting at the sky as the fire burned.

“Let us out!” Summer demanded.

The witch paused her ritual and looked at her three captives. A smirked cross her full lips as she calmly made her way over to them.

“Ah, the last of you is awake. Excellent. Now we can begin…”

“Begin what?!” Jessica demanded, trying to get up. The witch put her bare foot to the teens chest and kicked her into the dirt. She then stepped on the girl to keep her down.

“Don’t tire yourself out, child. It’s almost feeding time.”

“F...feeding time?” Anita asked.

The witch smirked and nodded. “The Famished Man demands sacrifice, and I wish to control him.”

“Who the hell is the Famished Man?” Summer asked.

“A very, very old demon of gluttony,” the witch said. She motioned to the site. “Look upon his works and be amazed. He only appears at night. My sisters and I called to him, but he was not satisfied with our offering, and so he took them. He hunted me, but I was able to escape him. Now, I am offering you three delicious young things in hopes that he will submit to my will.”

She got off of Jess’ chest and knelt in front of Anita. She grabbed the back of her head and kissed her deep on the lips. Their tits touched, the witch reveled in Anita’s warmth, biting her lips as she pulled away. She then lifted her hand and pulled up the Got Gem. “This is a great object of power...but you won’t be needing it,” she said with a grin. She then raised it in the air, opened her mouth, and swallowed it.

“No!” Anita screamed.

The witch let out a throaty laugh and stood back up to walk back to the fire and continue the ritual.

“What are we gonna do?!” Jess asked.

“I need to get my gem back,” Anita said, glaring at the witch.

“Give me a second to think,” Summer said. She was secretly working at escaping the ropes, one of the first skills her mother had taught her when she decided to become Specter Girl. “We just need to keep this evil bitch distracted for a few more minutes.”

The chanting continued, but the witch paused when she heard wolves howling on the night air. She looked back into the woods. “No...that couldn’t be…” she said to herself. She then growled and went back to chanting, a frustrated expression on her face.

Before long, there was movement at the edge of the forest. The Famished Man lurched forward, its mouths giggling and as it approached.

“What.the.fuck…” Anita said upon seeing the creature. Sweat ran down her brow. Jessica simply screamed at the sight of it.

“Oh, my god…” Summer gasped.

“Hello, ancient one,” The witch said to the demon. “I offer you these three bountiful sacrifices in exchange for heeding my will. Do you accept?”

The Famished Man moved past the witch and toward the teens. It moved a clammy, pale hand across Jessica’s warm flesh, the tongues on its hands licking and tasting.

“Ewww!” Jessica squealed and looked away.

The Famished Man then opened the main mouth on his head and swallowed the teen whole. She screamed and her thick legs kicked as she was stuffed down its throat. Its belly swelled and its many mouths laughed.

Anita and Summer looked on in abject horror as the creature moved toward them.

“No...no, no, no!”  Anita cried. She got up to run, but tripped and fell. The Famished Man then grabbed her ankle, pulled her toward him, and ate her legs first.

“Summer!! Help me!!!” She screamed as she disappeared down the thing’s gullet. Its belly grew larger and it wiped its mouth. It stopped in front of Summer, who looked away until she felt a cold hand grabbed her jaw. The Famished Man put its hand over Summer’s mouth and she felt the tongue wrestling with her own as the monster tasted her.

The Famished Man then turned to the witch. “More,” was the only word it uttered. All of its mouths spoke at once, giving its tone an eerie echo.

The witch stepped forward. “What do you mean, more?”

“Feed. Me. More.”

“I have given you three maidens!” She protested. “Plus two more the other day. You ate my sisters, besides! And I’ve seen evidence of more feeding in the days since!” The witch yelled. “And yet you demand even more! Bow to me, devil! Give me what I want!”

The Famished Man let go of Summer and turned to face the witch. It stood at its full, imposing height and its many mouths all licked their lips. As it began approaching the witch, Summer worked frantically to get out of the ropes that kept her tied up.

“Stay back!” the witch said, stepping back. “I demand you serve me!”

Summer only paused long enough to watch the Famished Man set upon and devour the witch too. It pinned her to the ground, and she fought against it. Her naked body was at its complete mercy as it forced her into its mouth and swallowed her whole. Summer managed to get free and got to her feet. She took a fighting stance and looked at the creature.

“Give me my friends back!”

The Famished Man looked at her just after forcing the lower half of the witch’s body down its throat. Its belly grew again and the mouths all licked their lips before laughing. The Famished Man then spun on a heel and took off into the forest.

“Come back here!” Summer demanded before giving chase.

The creature moved nimbly, despite its swollen belly, and Summer ran through the darkened forest in pursuit. But the creature had no trouble navigating the dark, while Summer was delayed by fallen branches and trees that suddenly jumped out of the dark. Before long, she lost track of the monster and came to a stop.

“Fuck!” she screamed in frustration. She looked around, trying to find any clues, when she suddenly heard rustling overhead. The Famished Man leapt from a tree and came down on Summer, pinning her to the ground. An impossibly long tongue snaked from its main mouth, licking Summer’s neck and face. The mouths on the thing’s chest licked and bit at Summer’s chest, tearing the fabric of her tank top and nibbling at the supple flesh underneath. She tried to fight back, but the thing’s strength was too much for the blonde teen. She was desperately trying to think of a way out when both she and the Famished Man paused at howling on the night air.

They both froze when they realized it was very, very close.

The Famished Man then pulled away just seconds before a gray blur darted through the woods and tackled it off of Summer. The two creatures wrestled on the ground and Summer noticed a second blur, this one black, run past her. She realized it was in the shape of a massive wolf, and it joined the other in attacking the demon.

The Famished Man fought the two beasts, but realized it was in danger of being overpowered and managed to pull away enough to leap into a tree. It then used the trees to escape and the two wolves chased it.

“...What the fuck…?” Summer said, trying to make sense of what she just saw.

“That was Omen and Shadow, my Devil Dogs,” a woman said.

Summer jumped up and turned around to see a young woman standing behind her. She was a black woman with caramel-colored skin and curly brown hair. She wore a black bustier and leather pants with platform boots. She was tall and curvy, and Summer immediately recognized her as an Aphrodite.

“Are you okay?” The woman asked, offering a hand to her.

“I’m fine,” Summer said, taking her hand and getting up. “Who are…”

“Selene Grim,” the woman introduced herself with a smile. “I’ve been tracking that fucking thing for days,” she pointed into the forest.

“The...the witch said it was called the Famished Man.”

“Yup,” Selene said. “I’m guessing it ate her, didn’t it?”

Summer nodded.

Selene nodded. “A creature like that is way too damn powerful for most magic users. She was an idiot. That thing has already eaten a few others too.”

“Yeah, it got my friends Jess and Anita a few minutes ago,” Summer reported. “Are they dead?”

“That’s the good news,” Selene said with a smile. “Your friends are still alive for now. That thing we saw was a shade of the Famished Man. Kind of like a clone, without the full power. The real monster is likely hiding somewhere it won’t be discovered easily. We don’t have long, though.”

“Well how do we find it?”

Selene nodded and Summer turned to notice movement in the forest. Omen and Shadow returned, with Omen, the gray wolf, carrying one of the Famished Man’s arms in his teeth. He dropped it in front of Selene and she smiled and knelt down, petting her animals on their heads. “Good booooys.”

Summer looked at the animals and realized Omen had glowing gold eyes and Shadow had red eyes. Both creatures were about the size of small horses.

Selene turned to Summer. “My boys have the scent now. They’ll find him.” She clicked her tongue and nodded. The wolves turned and took off back into the forest. Selene ran after them, stopping only when she realized Summer wasn’t behind her.

“You coming?”

“This trip was a mistake…” Summer sighed and followed Selene.

***

“It’s in there,” Selene said, scratching Shadow behind the ear while staring ahead at an isolated cave.

Summer stood next to her. “Do we go in?”

“Yeah,” Selene said. She then snapped her fingers and Omen and Shadow vanished in a burst of blue flame.

Summer jumped at the suddenness of it and then looked at her. “Don’t you think the giant, vicious demon dogs would be a big help here?”

“My babies aren’t vicious!” Selene snapped before composing herself. “I don’t think they’ll be able to move freely in there,” Selene answered. “No telling how tight it’s going to be.”

Summer sighed. “Of course. So, what do we do? How do we kill this thing?”

“Killing something like the Famished Man, the real Famished Man, is way above my skill level, babe,” Selene told her. “I’m going to banish it. I need you to distract it while I ready the spell.”

“Anything to get my friends back,” Summer said.

“Good,” Selene said before heading into the cave. She stopped when Summer grabbed her arm.

“Wait, wait, wait…” Summer said. “Who the hell are you? Do you live in Delta City?”

“...Yeah,” Selene said, looking at her strangely.

“I’ve never seen you before. The She Legion’s never mentioned you.”

“You’re with the She Legion?” Selene asked. She looked at her closely. “Ooooh, you’re Specter Girl, aren’t you?”

“Crap!” Summer said, realizing she just gave up her secret identity.

“Look,” Selene said. “How often do you deal with magic-related stuff? Not often, right? That’s probably why we never met. I’m not a ‘crime-fighter’, per se,” she said, doing finger quotes. “I deal with demons, ghosts, witches, vampires, necromancers, rogue wizards, things from other dimensions, shit like that. I mean, if I see an old lady being mugged or a kid being kidnapped, of course I’m gonna stop it. I’m not an asshole, but that’s not my primary thing.”

“Do you know Hexanna?”

“Hexanna…” Selene repeated the name. “Oh! The Brazilian chick with the skull staff? Only in passing. I’ve seen her around. Most of us work independently, or in very small teams. I bet you rarely see Hexanna, right?”

“That’s true…”

“There you go. If she’s anything like me, she’s probably not even on this plane often when she’s on the clock.”

“That makes sense…” Summer said. “I have so many questions…”

“Yeah, you normies usually do,” Selene said. “I’ll answer whatever you want, but we really should stop the Famished Man from digesting your friends first.”

“Right!” Summer snapped back to reality as the two of them ran into the cave.

“Hey, question,” Selene said.

“What?”

“What’s with the skimpy outfits? Wouldn’t it make more sense for you girls to wear something more practical?”

Summer looked at Selene and then at her outfit. She fixated on her toned ass in her leather pants, and the way her bustier hugged her caramel-colored bust, especially the way her tits bounced while she ran. Summer found herself biting her lip before looking ahead. “Long story.”

***

The cave turned out to be a winding, fairly narrow passage that Summer and Selene traversed for roughly ten minutes, with Selene summoning a sphere to light to guide the way. They arrived at more spacious opening at the back, a clear dead end, and they both paused at the horror in front of them.

Much of the space was taken up by the Famished Man’s true form, a swollen, grotesque thing covered in mouths and eyes. Anita, Jessica, and the witch were all fused with the creature’s gelatinous flesh, its mouths licking their naked bodies as it slowly absorbed them. The Famished Man also had many arms, and used its fingers to fondle and penetrate its three naked captives. Each of them appeared to be lost in a blissful state, eyes closed, mouths agape and moaning, thighs slick with juices, and nipples hard. Their arms and lower legs were fully absorbed into the creature’s body and its swollen mass writhed with their lean bodies as it slowly devoured the rest of them.

Summer looked on, frozen in horror and stepped back.

“Hey,” Selene said. “Head in the game. We’ve got this.” She then summoned a blue flame that took the shape of a sword and solidified into one.

Summer watched in amazement. “C...can I have one?”

Selene turned to her. “Do you know how to use a sword…?”

“No…” Summer admitted.

“Well, I can’t...shit!” Selene raised the sword and charged at Summer, who screamed and dodged to the side. Selene brought the weapon down in an arc and cleaved a shade of the Famished Man in two from shoulder to stomach. Its mouth screamed and it burst into flames that consumed it within seconds. Selene then stood in front of Summer and held the sword out. “Get ready, more are coming,” she warned. “Hit one with enough trauma and you’ll destroy it.”

“Can do,” Summer said, making fists and taking a stance.

All around them, the shadows came alive with more shades of the Famished Man. They leapt out, their mouths laughing and chittering as they attacked in a tide. Selene charged in with her sword, cutting them down while Summer struck out with punches and fists, crumbling the creatures with her powerful blows.

One of the creatures grabbed Summer from behind, pinning her arms to her sides. When another leapt at her, it hit a barrier that only appeared on contact and froze in place. Selene stepped forward, holding out her hand, and the with a word from her, the barrier flared and burst, ripping the shade apart. Summer managed to break free of the one holding her and leveled it with a punch.

“Thanks,” Summer said.

Selene smiled and nodded and then spun her sword. More of the creatures surrounded the two teen heroines and Summer took a stance until Selene grabbed her arm and pulled her in close. She then made a fist that glowed with energy and slammed her hand into the ground. A pulse of energy shot out in all directions, ripping the shades apart. Some ran, screaming, but were caught in the wave and annihilated.

“Damn!” Summer said.

“That one took me three years to master,” Selene said. Only the two of them, and the Famished Man’s true form, remained in the chamber. It had absorbed more of Jess, Anita, and the witch’s bodies at this point, and the women were still blissfully unaware. They moaned and writhed with pleasure, the monster’s many hands toying with their bodies.

“So what do we do against him?” Summer asked. She turned to see Selene’s eyes glowing as she drew an arcane symbol that appeared in the air. Selene then pressed her hand against it and the symbol multiplied and hovered through the air, surrounding the monster.

“Banishing spell,” Selene said. “His physical form is too strong as is, so we need to weaken it in order to send him away.” The same symbol, but bigger appeared under Selene’s feet as she gripped her sword. “Hit him wherever you can, avoid the mouths and avoid hurting the hostages.”

Summer nodded and the two of them charged into battle. An arm swiped at Selene, but she ducked and hacked it away with her sword. At the same time, Summer leapt into the air and hit the monster with a powerful kick that seemed to make it reel. She grabbed a handful of its flabby flesh and punched one of the mouths.

“Let my friends go!” she demanded, landing blow after blow hard enough to knock teeth from the mouth she was punching.

Selene turned away from the limb that had been attacking her and turned to Summer. “Behind you!”

Summer turned and saw a hand coming for her. She leapt away, avoiding it, but her footing slipped and she tumbled down the monster’s mass and hit the ground.

“Shit!” Selene said, starting to run over to her. Just as she did, and arm lashed out and one of the hands grabbed her wrist, making her drop her sword. She tried to ready a spell with her free hand but another hand clasped over her mouth to keep her quiet before the Famished Man lifted her up. She struggled and kicked until all her limbs were immobilized.

The hand over her mouth forced its tongue down her throat, making her gag as she tried to get free, but soon, she felt herself pressed against the monster’s body before it began absorbing her.  The hands tore off Selene’s clothes, revealing a fit, athletic body. Hands latched onto her tits, sucking and biting the nipples while another hand covered her pussy and she let out a muffled cry as the tongue plunged deep insider her. She tried fighting, tried resisting, but the overwhelming sense of pleasure proved to be too much, and her eyes rolled back in her head as her muscles relaxed and she seemed to be giving in to what the Famished Man was doing to her.

The hand over her pussy continued pumping, while the rest of her body was equally the monster’s plaything. The Famished Man’s many mouths cackled and some licked their lips as every eye on the thing’s body turned its hungry gaze on Selene. Her tits jumped with the movement of the tongue pumping her, and she made slight, muffled whimpers as the monster continued having its way with her. Her lean thighs twitched and her pussy soaked the hand covering it. The monster made slurping noises, drinking up the captive young sorceress’ juices but didn’t stop its eating.

Summer got up, holding her head and shaking off the blow from having hit the ground. She looked up and saw Selene had been added to the Famished Man’s collection.

“Oh no…” the teen heroine uttered. Despite herself, her nipples were rock hard in her tank top, and she could feel herself growing moist between the legs. As the monster continued its slow devouring of its now four captives, Summer gasped and stepped back when its eyes all turned on her. She looked around quickly and saw Selene’s sword on the ground. She ran for it, dodging and flipping over grasping hands when they lunged at her. With a roll, Summer grabbed the sword and jumped back up, spinning just in time to sever an arm that made a move for her.

She then ran at the monster and leapt, chopping the two hands that grasped Selene’s tits. Selene’s body jolted, and she seemed to get some life back in her eyes. Summer landed and turned back around. She made another run, jumped, and hacked off the arm on Selene’s pussy. Her juices flowed out and the mouth on the hand seemed to scream in frustration as it fell and burst into flame.

“Selene!” Summer cried out, running and chopping away hands that moved toward her. “Selene, snap out of it!”

Selene let out a gasp as Summer shouted for her. She looked around the cave. “Wha…” she then looked down at her naked body, at her slick thighs and erect nipples, and realized she was being absorbed. “Ewww!” she cried out. She clenched her teeth and tensed the muscles in her body. With a yell of effort she managed to rip an arm free. She then gathered a ball of magical energy in her palm and stuffed it into the closest mouth. Seconds later, a massive explosion ripped a chunk out of the Famished Man’s body and threw Selene several feet away. She tumbled across the floor the cave and Summer ran to her side, still hacking at the monster’s arms.

She knelt down, grabbing Selene’s arm to help her up. “You okay?!”

“Give me that!” Selene breathed while taking her sword back. She then plunged the tip into the center of the massive symbol on the floor. Moments later, the symbols in the air all flared bright and blasted the demonic horror with rays of energy. Its mouths all screamed at once as blue fire consumed every last fleshy inch of its body. There was a surge of energy, the flames swelled, and, moments later, the Famished Man was banished from the earthly plane.

Anita, Jessica, and the witch all fell to the ground and the symbols faded. Silence settled over the cave as Summer and Selene looked around.

“We got him?” Summer asked.

“We got him,” Selene said with a laugh. She stood up on shaky legs and then collapsed again, dropping her sword. Summer moved quickly and caught her. As she did, her hand fell to Selene’s chest, the meat of her tits soft and warm in Summer’s hand.

“...Are you copping a feel or did your hand slip?” Selene asked weakly.

“...I slipped…” Summer lied.

“Okay…” Selene said. “Let’s uh...just rest a bit…”

III

Some time later, dawn began to settle over the forest. Selene, Summer, Jessica, and Anita stood in a circle with the witch on her knees in the middle of them. Magical, metal bonds bound her wrists behind her and a gag was secured in her mouth as she looked at them defiantly. All the girls except Summer were naked.

“So, that’s it?” Jess asked. “No more of this demon shit, right?”

“Nah, it’s a big forest and absolutely teeming with all kinds of stuff you probably don’t want to know about,” Selene explained. “My parents used to train me in these forests because there’s so much lurking around.”

“Seriously?” Anita asked.

“Yeah...Delta City’s awash in the negative energy these things feed on. Murky Marsh, too. Why do you think so much weird shit happens around here?”

“Ugh…” Summer groaned.

“Don’t worry...we’ve been doing this for centuries,” Selene said. “You guys worry about the supervillains. We got this.”

“Hey, about that,” Summer said. “You wouldn’t be interested in joining up with us, would you? We could use a magic wielder.”

Selene shrugged. “Sure, why not...I uh…” she looked down at the ground. “...I don’t really have any friends…”

“...Is that because your friends tend to get eaten by monsters?” Jessica asked.

Selene stared at Jessica and the others. “Look, we’re not talking about that right now. I need to take this witch to the Council of 7. They’re like, the magic cops, basically.”

“Oh, shit!” Anita said, grasping at the choker on her neck. “The gem!”

“Hmm?” Selene asked. “What gem?”

“The gem I get my powers from. She ate it,” Anita pointed at the witch.

“Oh!” Selene said. “No problem.” She held out her hand and summoned a flame that took the form of a knife. She then kicked the witch on to her back, held her down by her throat and raised the knife over her belly.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, HEY!” Summer said as she and Jessica grabbed Selene’s arm. “What the hell are you doing?!”

“Doesn’t she want her gem back?” Selene blinked, confused. “It’s in the witch’s belly.”

“So you’re just gonna gut her?!” Summer asked.

“...Yeah…” Selene said with a raised eyebrow. “I mean...I don’t actually need her alive.”

“No!” Summer said. “We’re not butchers!”

Selene sighed and shook her head. “Oh, that’s your deal...All right, fine. I think I have a potion that can make her vomit it up…” She then closed her eyes and chanted while holding out her hand. A vial of green liquid appeared. Selene then made the witch’s gag vanish.

“You little cunt!” The witch spat with a furious look on her face. “You were going to gut me like some pig! And now you mean to turn me over to those old fools on the council?! I swear to the dark powers, I am going to make a cloak out of your skin, girly!”

“Shut uuuuup…” Selene said, forcing the potion down the witch’s throat. The witch then began gagging and coughing before she vomited on the forest floor. The girls all got clear as the Got Gem came out last. Selene picked it up and looked at it. “Oooh, this is a Got Gem? Neat.” She then tossed it to Anita.

“Ugh…” Anita groaned, feeling how slimy it was.

“Right,” Selene said, standing up. With a quick motion and a spell, she summoned a new outfit, identical the one she had been wearing earlier. “I should only be gone a few hours. Let’s get lunch or something.”

“Yeah, we are heading back to the city after this bullshit, right?” Jess asked.

“Definitely…” Summer and Anita both said.

“Okay,” Summer then said. “Just uh...you know what, I have a feeling you know where to find us.”

“Yeah, it won’t be a…” Selene then froze and looked around before summoning her sword. “Someone’s coming!”

There was a surge of energy nearby as lightning crashed and struck the ground nearby. When it subsided, Hexanna stood tall. The busty Brazilian sorceress looked around the area, clutching her skull staff tightly before she saw the group.

“Girls! There you are!” She said, approaching them. “Something evil is lurking in this forest. I came as soon as I sensed…” she then looked at Selene and the witch. “...I’m late, aren’t I?”

Selene grinned and nodded.

“...That’s what I get for letting Texas Star...distract...me…” Hexanna muttered before looking at Selene and smiling. “Hello there.”

“Hi. I’m Selene Grim,” she said, holding out her hand.

Hexanna looked at her. “Ah, yes...young Ms. Grim. I only know you by reputation. A pleasure to meet you,” she said as they shook hands. “What were you girls dealing with out here?”

“A class-A. The Famished Man,” Selene said.

Hexanna held her hand to her ample chest. “Really? My goodness. I do want to hear this tale.”

“Well,” Selene said, forcing the witch to her feet by grabbing her arm. “I’ll tell you all about it on the way to the Council.”

“Splendid!” Hexanna beamed. She turned to the other teens. “You girls are fine finding your way back, yes? Yeah, you’ll be okay.”

Before anyone could say anything, Selene, Hexanna, and the witch all vanished, leaving Summer, Jessica, and Anita standing in the forest.

“...I hate magic…” Jessica uttered.

“She was really gonna gut that bitch…” Anita said, thumbing her Got Gem.

Summer sighed and began walking away. “Let’s get back to camp and pack up.”

“This could have been avoided if we had just gone to the store,” Jessica said.

“Shut up, Jess!” Summer fumed.
