Our Story So Far: While Thera, Bombshell, and the monks battle a demonic invasion at the Temple of the Guardian, Superia has been dragged into the domain of Bel-Deron. What terror does she face there?

Superia #3: Demons Among Us pt. 3

VI

"What. The. FUCK.”

Superia looked around, trying to make sense of her new surroundings. The sun was black, the sky was some unsettling shade of dark purple. Underneath her boots, the ground was made of grotesque faces that were twisted and writhing in pain, and this sickening landscape stretched to the horizon in every direction.

"THERA!" Superia screamed at the sky. "Come on, where the hell are you...? Where the hell am I...? Fuck...is this Hell?"

"Not quite," the voice that was both masculine and feminine answered.

Superia spun around, trying to find the source, but she didn't see anyone.

"Hello, slave."

The voice was behind her now, and she spun and threw a punch, only to hit air. It was then that she saw a shadow set against the sun. Even at this distance, Superia could tell the being was tall, with long limbs that ended in clawed hands and feet. Two leathery wings stretched from its back as it descended from the sky and hovered down in front of her.

When the demon stood, it was easily 8 feet tall. Its skin was white like marble, and its lean body didn't have an ounce of fat anywhere on it. A large pair of breasts sat on the demon's chest and a long, flaccid cock hung between its legs. Its black tongue was serpent-like and it smiled with a mouth full of razors and licked its lips when it eyed Superia. Two thick, curved horns protruded from the head, ending in sharp points, with a mess of thin, writhing tendrils between them.

Superia stepped back, away from the horrid creature as it eyed her with pitch black eyes.

"Welcome. I am Bel-Deron, the Flawless, and you are in my domain," the demon bowed.

Superia's skin went pale and a trickle of sweat ran down her forehead. "No..." she whispered. "I...I can't...fuck!" she then turned and started running, as fast as she could. A mix of terror and instinct had taken hold and she knew she had to get away from this creature. She put some distance between herself and Bel-Deron, and dared to look back. When she did, it was gone. When she turned back around, it was right in front of her.

"You wear my mark, cattle. You belong to me," Bel-Deron said, pointing to the brand.

Superia growled and clenched her fist and, with no other option, charged at her demonic enemy. When she got close, the demon faded from sight and the momentum from Superia's punch made her stumble forward and nearly fall over. The demon appeared behind her and extended its hand. Superia turned around just in time for an invisible force to slam into her and send her flying back. She hit the ground and skipped across it like a stone, coming to stop several dozen feet later. Pillars made of faces rose up on either side of Superia and the moment she was on her feet, long, thin tentacles lashed out from the mouths and seized her arms around the wrists, pulling them up above her head. Their eyes looked the heroine over as she struggled to break free.

"Shit!" she cursed, trying to pull free, but even her enhanced strength was no match. Bel-Deron rose in the air and descended behind her, chuckling as it ran a hand down her chest and pulled her costume off, exposing her toned and naked body. Superia screamed and cursed at the demon, trying to break free of the tentacles holding her in place. The faces under her feet moaned in anguish as the demon caressed her naked breasts. It pulled her hair to one side and kissed her neck while toying with her vulnerable body.

With serpent-like movements, the demon slipped around its captive and gripped her thighs with clawed hands.

"Get the fuck off of me!" Superia demanded.

"You are mine, mind, body, and soul, woman," the demon laughed as its cock swelled between its muscular legs. It spread Superia's legs and inserted itself inside of her, causing her to cry out, and then it began thrusting while gripping her hips tight. Its cock stretched her insides and, with one hand, the demon squeezed one tit while licking the other. Superia couldn't do anything but cry out and moan while being violated by the demon, her body all but helpless to do anything to stop it.

"Ugh…fuck…" she whimpered, trying to ignore the welling sensation of pleasure. She had to think about a way out, but she didn't even know how she got there. Fighting the demon off was out of the question, too. She could tell it was on a completely different level of power.

Time passed in a broken montage as the demon continued having its way with her. All of her clothes had been stripped away, leaving her completely naked and at the creature's mercy. In time, Bel-Deron slipped behind her, stretching her asshole with its massive cock once it brought her to orgasm and her thighs ran with her own juices. Her body was covered in sweat that dripped from her dangling tits and seemed to get lapped up by the faces that made up the ground. Her mind was clouded, all thoughts of escape slowly slipping away as Bel-Deron continued fucking her senseless. After the sensation of repeated orgasms, Superia fell to her knees once the demon pulled its still-stiff cock out.

Her chest heaved as she sucked in air, and then she gasped when a clawed hand gripped her hair and pulled her head back. Before she could react, that same monstrous cock went in her mouth and down her throat, and she was forced to taste the beast's flesh as it thrust its hips back and forth, laughing at her submission to it.

Before long, a hot stream of the demon's cum filled her mouth, forcing her to gag and cough. Only then did the demon pull out, shooting a load onto her face and covering her body before it stepped back. The tendrils holding her arms let go and a weakened and broken Superia fell to the writhing floor. Hungry tongues licked at her exhausted flesh, tasting the sweat and despair and lapping up the demon’s thick cum.

"Pathetic." Bel-Deron taunted as Superia quivered at its feet. "Where is all of that Aphrodite bravado I've heard about?"

Superia pushed herself up on trembling arms. "Transport us back to Earth and I'll fucking show you…"

"Ha!" the demon laughed and kicked her. "You are never returning home. You will be here with me, for eternity. Submit."

"No…" Superia growled with a trembling voice. "Go fuck yourself!" she screamed and spit in the demon's face.

Bel-Deron smiled, grabbing her by the throat and lifting her up. The demon’s tongue snaked out and licked Superia’s spit from its face "I will break that rebellious spirit. When I have had my fill, there is a whole legion of my minions who will make your body their plaything."

It then threw her back and she tumbled across the ground. Her aching body was giving up. Her nearly broken spirit was giving up. She looked up at the demon as it stood there with a mocking expression on its face. "You're welcome to try and escape or fight back, of course. I welcome the sport."

Superia stood back up, slowly, wavering on her legs, and she immediately fell back down, too drained to do anything but breathe.

The demon laughed and shook its head. "You Aphrodites should know your place. You are but insects in my shadow. I will capture and dominate every last one of you with time," it promised while walking toward her.

"No...fuck..." Superia growled and whispered to herself. "There has to be a way out of this...think, Naomi. THINK!"

Bel-Deron stood a few feet away. "Yes, that's it. Rage against inevitability. It will not help you. You are but a thing to be toyed with, and you shall be for all time."

Superia tried to stand, tried to look her oppressor in the eye. "I won't be beaten. You'll have to fucking kill me!"

"Heh. I will make you pray for death because of that defiant tongue, cattle," Bel-Deron promised. The demon then licked its lips again and continued toward her.

Superia breathed deep and clenched her fists to put up a fight. Her naked body ached, she had little energy, fear ran down to her very core when she felt the power emanating off of Bel-Deron, but she was out of options. "Shit...I at least thought I'd make it to 30..." she said to herself. "But I had a good fucking run...maybe I'll get to beat up that cunt Riot when she eventually gets to the gates of Hell..." The thought made her smile, just a little as Bel-Deron closed in.

Suddenly, a bright light flashed in the sky and they both looked up just in time to see a bolt of blue flame come down and impale Bel-Deron in its chest.

"Ugh!" the demon groaned in pain and fell, pinned by the flame as it solidified into a massive spike. It ripped it from its chest and the weapon burned its hand before being cast aside. It dissipated before it hit the ground and the demon narrowed its eyes as a figure fell from the sky and landed in a crouch before him.

The woman's black trench coat trailed behind her, and when she stood up, Superia noticed she had short white hair. She turned back and looked at Superia with golden eyes. "Sup? You the new girl? Thera said you might need some help."

Superia watched her in stunned silence and took a step forward.

"No, no," the new arrival said. "Sit tight. Ugly here is mine," she promised while cracking her knuckles.

Superia then felt a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"Naomi, are you all right?"

Superia turned to see a familiar face. "Thera? Wha...what the hell? Who the fuck is that?" she pointed to the woman in black.

"That's Nocturne. She's a demon killer. Don't move. You're too weak right now."

A grin crossed Nocturne's face as she approached Bel-Deron with her arms outstretched. "So, we can do this one of two ways."

"And what would those be?" The demon asked as the hole in its chest closed.

"The easy way is you let me and my friends walk out and you never show that ugly face in the mortal realm again. That goes for your lapdogs, too." Nocturne explained. "The hard way is I kick the shit out of you, leave you dead or dying, and you never show your face in the mortal realm again."

Bel-Deron sniffed the air. "Ah. You're some half-demon mutt."

Nocturne shrugged. "Offer's good for five seconds, shithead."

"I will break you just as I have that one," the demon pointed at Superia before throwing a punch. The blow hit the fleshy ground and the demon's eyes widened in surprise.

"Ding! Time’s up!" Nocturne said, smacking the demon in the back of its head from where she sat on its shoulder.

Bel-Deron grunted and swatted, but Nocturne moved away in the blink of an eye. Bel-Deron’s body jerked with a sudden lance of pain in its back.

"Gotta be faster than that," she grinned. She then held her hand up and Bel-Deron realized Nocturne was holding on its wings, freshly torn from its back.

Bel-Deron looked back at the bleeding stump, growled, and held out a hand. A black, barbed spear appeared in its palm. It then launched the weapon at Nocturne, who rolled out of the way with blinding speed. She did the same when a second spear came at her, and when the third flew, she caught it in her hand, spun, flipped the weapon, and launched it back. The demon cried out as its own spear pierced its chest and pinned it to one of the pillars used to hold Superia captive. The faces screamed as Bel-Deron howled in rage.

Thera watched it all unfold as she helped Superia to her feet. "Why does she have to toy with it?" she asked out loud. "Nocturne. Stop playing games. We have Naomi. It's time to go."

"Okay, mom!" Nocturne rolled her eyes and held out her hand. A blue flame burned in her palm, took the shape of a sword, and then solidified into one. It was a cruel-looking, double-edge, black sword almost as long as she was tall. The crossguard was in the shape of a pair of wings and the pommel held a gem that glowed red.  Nocturne impaled the sword in the ground, drawing more screams from the faces below, and shed her trenchcoat, revealing her lean, muscular body underneath the black bustier she wore. She closed her eyes and sighed deeply and a network of glowing, blood red tattoos appeared on her body and face. When Nocturne opened her golden eyes, they flashed and a grin crossed her face as she looked at Bel-Deron.

"T...that sword. That's the Bastard's Blade! You're the Daughter of Ruin!" the demon gasped.

"Bingo," Nocturne smiled and picked up her weapon.

Bel-Deron barely had time to plea for mercy before Nocturne moved with lighting speed, her blade held high. Superia and Thera watched in amazement as Bel-Deron's head fell from its shoulders and rolled across the ground. The top half of the pillar, cleaved neatly in half, slid off and fell. The demon’s body hung uselessly against what was left of the pillar, black blood dripping from the neck. Nocturne was several feet in the distance, her sword still outstretched and crackling with energy. She turned, walked back to the head and kicked it, sending it flying into the distant horizon.

She then grabbed her trenchcoat and flung it over her shoulder while her sword vanished in a flash of blue flame and her tattoos faded. "All right, bitches, we're outta here. Let's roll!" She said to Thera and Superia while walking away.

Superia and Thera watched her before Superia leaned close to Thera. “I wanna be her when I grow up…”

All was quiet in the temple as the monks began the long process of cleaning up. Some of the younger monks went to work, scrubbing demon blood from the floors with mops and buckets of water. Other monks tended to the injured and began the rites for honoring the fallen.

Superia sat on some steps in the sanctum with Thera next to her. Bombshell stood next to them, watching the scene in front of them as Nocturne stood several feet away from Grandmaster Shang. Nocturne looked at her nails while Shang eyed her.

"You've obviously got something to say, old man," Nocturne glanced at him. "Out with it."

"You have done your job. You're free to leave now."

Nocturne looked up at the old man and smirked. "It wouldn't kill you to show a little kindness."

"I do not show kindness to abominations..."

Thera stood up once she was sure Superia was okay and jogged over to the two as they stepped toward each other.

"One of these days, you're gonna regret treating me like shit," Nocturne told him. "We're on the same side, but you treat me like..."

"Like the monster you are," Shang scolded.

"With all due respect, Master Shang, Nocturne helped me rescue Superia from Bel-Deron's clutches, and she made sure the demon won't be terrorizing anyone for a very long time."

"Their kind kill each other all the time," Shang pointed at Nocturne. "I do not want her in my temple. Lady Thera, you and your companions are of course welcome to stay, but she is not."

"I..." Thera started.

"It's all right, Ther..." Nocturne stopped her. "I got things to do, anyway." She walked over to Superia and Thera followed with Shang's burning gaze at their backs.

"Hey, new girl," Nocturne said.

Superia looked up.

"You good?"

Superia nodded. "Thanks...for everything..."

"Nah, don't worry about it," Nocturne smiled and slapped her on the shoulder. "Just get some rest, yeah? I'll see ya around some time. I'm out of here." She nodded to Thera.

"You oughta stop by Delta when you get a chance," Bombshell told her. "I'm sure Delphi and Crane would like to see you."

"I got a lot going on. Call me if you guys are up to your tits in demons and I'll come through," Nocturne told her.

Bombshell chuckled. "Stop by and you and I can go drinking."

"Hah, now that's enticing," Nocturne laughed. The two of them shook hands with tight grips before Nocturne walked away, waving over her shoulder. Once she was a good distance away, her sword appeared in hand and she cut the air, once vertically and once horizontally. A portal appeared and Nocturne walked through, whistling a tune as she vanished and the portal closed.

Thera watched her leave and then glanced at Shang, who shook his head and walked away. She turned to Bombshell and Superia. "We should rest. We'll return to Delta City in a few hours."

Superia looked up at Bombshell. "She's saying your man can stretch your pussy out one last time before we go home," she grinned.

Bombshell smirked and shook her head. "Good to have you back, Naomi," she said before leaving to find Tsomo.

"I'm starving..." Superia said. "They have anything to eat around here?"

Thera smiled and held out her hand to help her up.

VII

Naomi let out a deep sigh and stared out into the Delta City night, listening to the sounds of traffic and people on the city streets below. She leaned against the rail, losing her thoughts in the city noise when the door to the balcony opened behind her. Delphi walked onto the balcony, followed by Thera.

"Hey," Naomi said to Delphi, who walked up and put a hand on her shoulder.

"How are you feeling?" Delphi asked.

"I'm fine," Naomi told her.

"Look at me," Delphi told her. "Thera told me what happened when she and Nocturne got there. I just want to make sure you're really okay."

"I am," Naomi told her.

"Hey, it's all right. I know how terrifying demons are. I couldn't sleep for a week after the first time I encountered one." Delphi took Naomi's hand and squeezed gently. "They're the most terrifying thing we deal with in this life." She let out a sigh. "If you want to quit, I get it…"

"Quit?" Naomi looked at her. "Why the hell would I quit?"

"I just thought…"

Naomi shook her head and looked at Thera. "Can you teach me how to fight those things?"

Thera blinked in surprise. "Yes, I can. It won't be easy, but I can teach you to protect yourself. I've already taught many of the others."

"How do I make one look like a bitch, the way Nocturne did?"

"That…isn't possible," Delphi told her. "Nocturne's different. Her mother was an Aphrodite, but her father was an especially powerful demon, so she got the best of both worlds. She helps us deal with powerful supernatural threats and only supernatural threats. Only Thera knows how to reach her and even then, we can't always rely on her to show up."

"As you saw, Nocturne is extremely capable at what she does, to the point that she sees much of what we do as not being worth her time. She once fought Star Woman to a standstill. Mantis and I both watched and we agree she was just toying with Star Woman the whole time."

"Damn..." Naomi said. "Hey, what was it Bel-whatshisface called her? The Daughter of Ruin, what does that mean?"

Thera's shoulders dropped and she looked at the ground. "A title she inherited from her father. Nocturne's mother was a demon hunter who put a stop to the genocidal plans of 'The Emperor of Ruin', nearly at the cost of her own life."

"And this 'Emperor' is Nocturne's dad?"

Delphi nodded.

"Eh, I get it. My dad's an asshole, too," Naomi said. "That's behind us, though, right?"

Thera and Delphi got very quiet.

"It's not. Nocturne's dad is still out there?"

Thera sighed. "I'm hoping he's something we'll never have to deal with."

"The plan for doing so if we do is still under construction," Delphi added.

"So…if we don't stop him…?"

"Enslavement of humanity, oceans of blood, skies on fire, every one of us becomes his brides…doomed to spawn him more children for all eternity. He's promised he'll crucify Nocturne and let demons feed on her innards…" Thera told her. "Bel-Deron was small-time. Demons like The Emperor are the real threat…"

"Well, shit..." Naomi gasped. "And you guys just carry on, knowing that shit is at your doorstep?"

"Knowing that I'm doing something to help certainly makes it easier," Delphi told her.

"This sort of thing has been my order's responsibility for centuries," Thera told her. "It's a burden I gladly carry. I can teach you how to cope, if you'd like. Meditation does wonders. The occasional long bubble bath works, as well," the sorceress smiled.

Naomi started to walk inside. "You can keep the meditation. I won't say no to the bubble bath, though." She then stopped when she stood next to Thera. "My tub isn't like the hot springs, but it is pretty big..." she giggled.

Thera's face turned a slight shade of red, only to turn brighter when Naomi slapped her on her plump ass before going inside. "I'm heading home. Goodnight."

Thera watched her walk away and then looked at Delphi, who held up her hands and went inside. "You're consenting adults. It's none of my business."

***

The next morning, Naomi grunted as she pushed herself up on the floor. "89..." she said to herself before going down. As she counted her pushups, the lock on her door clicked and the door opened. Alexis walked in, saw her and smiled as she walked over and planted herself on the couch.

"Hey, girl. What's up?"

"94...nothing," Naomi said, going back down. "What about you?"

"Just got home from the club," she yawned. "I thought I'd see you there then I remembered you went to that damn concert last night," she said before looking to her side. She noticed a dark blue robe next to her on the couch and scooched over so she wasn't sitting on it. She then picked it up and looked at it. "Damn, this is nice. Is this new? I didn't think this kind of thing was your style."

Before Naomi could answer, Alexis turned when she noticed someone coming out of the hall that led to Naomi's bedroom.

Thera peeked into the living room with an embarrassed smile. "Hello. I'm sorry...I didn't realize Naomi had a roommate..."

Alexis looked the tall, busty sorceress over and blinked while Naomi kept doing pushups. "Oh, no...I live across the hall. I just have a spare key, so I come over sometimes."

"Ooooh, you must be Alexis!" Thera said. "Naomi's told me much about you. I'm Thera."

"Well, nice you meet you, Thera," Alexis said to her with a smile.

"Could I possibly trouble you for my robe?"

"Oh! Shit, sorry," Alexis said before getting up and handing it to her. "It's very nice. I like the ink, too," she pointed to Thera's tattoos.

"Thank you," Thera said while slipping on her robe. She straightened her hair while Naomi stood up and stretched her arms.

"I have to get going," Thera said. "I need to go back to Providence for a little while. Will I see you later?" Thera asked.

"You bet," Naomi said, giving her a light kiss on the lips.

Thera smiled and summoned her staff out of thin air. She opened a portal, bid the women farewell and then left the apartment.

Alexis watched the space where Thera had just been standing when Naomi collapsed onto the couch next to her.

"So you're fucking Glinda the Good Witch now?"

"She's a sorceress. Big difference," Naomi said before scratching her stomach.

"Well, why's she going to Rhode Island? Is she from there?"

"What?" Naomi blinked. "Oh, no, Providence is a fortress where a bunch of other magic people live. She was raised there."

"...What the hell did you get into last night?"

"Let's go get breakfast," Naomi pat her on the leg and stood up. "I've got a wild story for you, sister. Did you know there are other Earths and Hell is real?"

“….What the fuck…?” Alexis stared at her friend.

***

The portal closed behind Thera and she found herself in a large stone chamber lit by glowing orbs. She walked toward a wooden door and pushed it open gently, poking her head inside and smiling once she found what she expected.

A little boy of about 6 looked up from his desk and then jumped out of his chair and ran to Thera when she opened the door.

“Mom!” the boy exclaimed as he hugged her legs.

“Aron, my darling,” she smiled and kissed the top of the boy’s head. She then knelt down so they were eye level “What are you still doing up?”

Aron ran back to his desk and picked up a large book before presenting it to Thera. It was opened to a two page spread full of text with notes scrawled in the margins.

“You’re already on conjuring?” She asked.

Aron grinned and nodded. “I’m going to study under one of the High Magus. He’s going to show me everything!”

“Huh…” Thera said before sensing someone outside the door. She turned back to her son. “Okay, put the book away and get ready for bed. I’ll be back.”

“Are you going back down?” Aron pouted.

Thera maintained a smiled. “No…not now. I’m here now and will be when you wake up, okay? Go on, get ready for bed,” she hurried him along. She then got up and left the room to go back into the main chamber.

“The boy’s progressing fast. He’s a prodigy, just like his parents.” A man spoke.

Thera stopped and looked back over her shoulder to see a dark haired, bearded mean leaning against the wall.

“Mathias…” Thera nodded to him, her tone tense.

“You smell, Thera,” Mathias said, walking toward her. “Back below, playing superhero again? At least you aren’t wearing some ridiculous skintight outfit...”

“I do not need to explain myself you.”

“No, but you can explain to our son why you’re never here.”

“Don’t…” she growled. “Aron knows I have responsibilities.”

“To lesser beings?” Mathias said. “Their problems are theirs alone. I am trying to make you see that, so are the higher Magi. They forgave you for freeing that half-demon bitch from the stockades. But if you insist on continuing to help those...women…”

“The magi were torturing Nocturne! You know it wasn’t right!”

“Keep your voice down, lest the boy hear us,” Mathias told her. “And it doesn’t matter. She isn’t one of us, they are not our people. Why do you even bother?”

“I helped them stop a demonic incursion.”

“Too bad. They could stand to be culled a little,” Mathias said. “I’ve promised our son that I would take him beast taming tomorrow. You’re free to join us if you aren’t busy with your friends. We can be one happy family.”

Thera narrowed her eyes at Mathias. “Laying down with you all those years ago was the biggest mistake of my life…”

“Heh. You seemed to enjoy it at the time…” Mathias grinned, pinching Thera on her ass and walking away. “Go shower. Get the stink of those animals off of you.”

Thera took a moment and then breathed deep. “I wonder how open to the idea of beating him senseless Naomi would be…” she whispered to herself before turning to go back to her son’s room.
