Trial of Supergirl

Chapter 2

“Very good…very good” the balding man smiled broadly as he opened his briefcase. Inside a miniature satellite computer clicked on and connected automatically. Using his stubby fingers he entered the codes, then logged into the Swiss National bank and accessed a pre-designated account.

“I’ll only need your account to make the transfer complete, the balance will follow in three days after we have the merchandise stored…agreed?”

Conner smiled broadly pulling a small slip of paper from his inside suit pocket.

“That’ll be a lot of help to a lot of charities……” A woman’s voice startled them suddenly. Panic stricken they looked around for the source only to be dumbfounded as they saw the hovering form of Supergirl flying in above them. She floated downward towards the group, her short red skirt and cape flapping and flowing through the breeze of her decent, the light of the full moon bounced off the satin finish of her shining blue top, its snug fit gripped her body perfectly, the light reflections following her curvaceous plump breast and the blazing ‘S’ on her chest made a grand statement. Her high heeled red boots gently touched the ground as the men surrounded her. She stood in center of them, unafraid, her shapely legs slightly parted, ready for anything they could throw at her.

She faced the two men. The boy Conner looked even younger up close now, his trendy blonde hair long on one side of his face that cut just above his blue eyes. The middle eastern man looked in total disarray. His hands visibly shook and he blurted out a phrase in his language.

“Don’t act so innocent.” Supergirl replied in Arabic to his astonishment. “You’re all under arrest, lets not make this harder than it has to be.” She said to the others.

“Supergirl,” Conner flashed his charming smile as he reached inside his coat pocket and withdrew an expensive looking leather wallet. “I’m sure we can overlook this little encounter…lets say a hundred thousand and you forget this meeting?”

Supergirl only glared at him.

“Ok, ok fine. I was trying to low ball you but I can see you’re a good negotiator so how about five hundred….” He saw no change in her expression. “…er one million?”

“You cant buy your way of this one Kingsley.” She said sternly.

“Ok, ok. You got me…I’ll go as high as ten million. That’ll buy a lot of extra capes.” He started writing the check. “And you want this just for cash right?”

Supergirl snatched the pad from his hand and ripped it into pieces.

“Don’t be stupid. Don’t waste your money on me; you’re going to need it for a good lawyer.”

The boy watched dazed as his checks floated to the ground in pieces. She could hear his heart pounding in his chest, his blood rushing; this was a situation he couldn’t buy his way out of.

“Well Supergirl, how about one of these beautiful autos…you can’t fly everywhere right?” He smiled nervously. “I have the keys for this one right here.” He reached inside his pocket again but instead of the keys he withdrew a silver plated automatic and fired shots at the unmoving Supergirl.

The bullets slammed against her and then ricocheted in every direction, never penetrating her.

“What the hell are you doing!” the other men yelled as they dodged the flying bullets.

Conner gritted his teeth in anger and turned to run. The men surrounding Supergirl rushed her. She easily slapped the first away with the back of her hand, slapping him so hard he fell immediately to the ground. Another grabbed her from behind in a bear hug as the portly Middle Eastern buyer grabbed his briefcase and fled in the opposite direction.

Supergirl flipped the man behind her, taking him by the arm and sending him crashing into the fleeing buyer. Both hitting the hard ground and destroying the case. She turned and whipped her leg around another, kicking him into the open container. In one mighty burst she flew at them all, picking up one after another and throwing them inside the ship container. She grabbed the others, including the fat buyer and tossed them in as well. Closing the doors, she pulled the locks and snapped them shut.

“This should hold you.” She shouted to the pounding of fist inside and the yells of obscenities.

She jumped upward and spotted the boy. He was just at his car fumbling madly for his keys. Like a bolt of lightning she zoomed at him.

“Going somewhere?” She pulled the keys from him.

“You fucking bitch!” He drove his fist into her stomach and Supergirl doubled over in pain, shocked at how strong the boy was. “You’re not taking me in!!’ he nailed her again slamming his fist into her shoulder.

Supergirl buckled, taken totally by surprise at this power but pulled herself together. She jumped at him, slamming her own fist into his chin, then pummeling him with three quick punches and a finishing kick. The boy fell, breathing hard as sweat poured over him. She picked him up and pushed him over the front of his car, pinning him down, she took his hands behind his back.

“Do you know who I am! Do you know what my father’s going to do to you when he finds out? Your dead bitch, you’re dead!! Let me go!”

“Quiet down.” Supergirl slammed his handsome face against the hood. She reached around into his jacket. “Mind if I use your cell?”

The boy screamed in anger, wrestling against the hood of the car as she flipped opens his phone and dialed the number for the police. “You and your gang are going away for a long time, maybe this will straighten you out, and maybe your father will thank me.” She clicked the phone, telling them where she was and what was going on, and she then ended the call and tossed his phone over her shoulder.

“You fucking super freaks think you’re the boss….just wait…just wait, you have no idea how powerful I am.” He spat.

“Wow, I heard you were better than this on a first date.” Supergirl teased as she pinned him. “Come on; charm me like you do those movie stars until the police get here….after all, this is our first date, haha.”
